Most probably we are going to see one new team in T20 world cup 2026 from Europe. Here's the reason
India 🇮🇳 and Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 are the host of 2026 T20 world cup 2026
India 🇮🇳 and Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 has qualified as hosts Then in choosing super 8 most probably India 🇮🇳 will qualify for super 8 then the team which will be 3rd in Group A will directly be qualified in T20 world cup as India 🇮🇳 has already qualified as host and Ireland 🇮🇪 has most of chances being 3rd in Group A
Same applies for Group D also If Netherlands 🇳🇱 will be 3rd in Group D then they also will qualify if Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 will be in top 2 of Group D
So if Ireland 🇮🇪 and Netherlands 🇳🇱 will be qualified directly then we are going to see one more European team with Scotland 🏴 in qualifiers and if Scotland 🏴 also managed to be top 2 in Group B we are going to see 2 new European teams
