The supermarket shop recap was fascinating! Good running chat, I always tell my pals that start running that pace is really important. When you start it's easy to think you have 2 speeds; walking and running, but you've got running, jogging, slow jogging, jogging/walking etc etc. It's too easy to start out too fast then die and dismiss running as not for you.

Always very interesting to see grocery hauls, especially to see what is available in other countries and also to get to know you a little better! 😀 Loved the flat plates a lot as well! Great idea to use essential oils in the shower, will definitely try this out because the scents of shower gels usually don't last very long.

Thank you for this calm, nurturing vlog! Loved the footage of your garden, such a luxury to have a space like that that's just yours. Books I've been loving recently are Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake and The Overstory by Richard Powers. Currently rereading that last one for the second time, it's soo good! Such a lovely way to start a Sunday, thank you for another awesome vlog Gemma :) And also thank you for that chat about skincare. I love that people see at as way to care for themselves and that kind of personal ritual, but it's also a real shame, especially for young people (and women in particular, of course) when this kind of unspoken standard around beauty comes along with it. There is that pressure (like needing to fight against ageing) or being embarrassed about break outs, etc which is so awful! (last weekend I literally didn't leave the house because of an acne spot I thought people would stare at me for!). So yeah, that little talk was really appreciated. x
