ISSUES WITH MY LV RUNAWAY SNEAKERS, POOR QUALITY

- This is a followup review of my Louis Vuitton Runaway Sneakers. I am selling them now on Designer Vintage. As I explained in my video, I am a little bit disappointed in the overall quality.

I have these in black and white and the problem I found with them is they have a platform insole that forces the back of the foot to sit high in the heel which causes the heel of the foot to slip out of the shoe while walking. I had my LV rep have the insoles removed and replaced with a custom flat insole. I HIGHLY recommend this.

@@Ayichick I thought there was something wrong with me when I was in the store and my heels kept coming out the back. Now I know I'm not alone. I love mine and don't have any wear and tear issues but if someone is going to buy them they really need to know more about the insole and the way they fit because its not like a normal sneaker. I, DON'T, EXIST how much did they charge you for the new insoles? I have the same problem and wondering if i just return them or worth changing the insoles?
@@Username_21909 I have a Rep and she's the only person I deal with when I go to the store. She didn't charge me anything for them. She put one pair in the shoes and packed up another pair and put them in the box. I don't know if there's usually a change for the something like that or not. I double checked my reciept and I wasn't charged for them so don't quote me but if you're in the store and you are interested in buying them, ask them if they have a simple insole they can swap the platform insole with. If you already own them I would just go back into the store and explain the problem and ask them if they have a simple replacement insole and see what they say. They aren't anything special, its just a thin flat piece of leather. Do NOT wear them without any kind of insole though, it will tear the inside of the shoes UP! The insole really protects your shoe so definitely just get a simple leather insole and they should have them at the LV store. Hope this helps
@@Username_21909 Hi, I would advise you to go to a normal shoe shop and get shoe insoles in the shoe size, it works fantastic. That is exactly what I did, and the shoes are much more fun and comfortable for long walks 😍
I agree with what u said especially the leather is peeling, and they are so hard to clean, and the part where they slip out from the feet. but still they look so pretty this is why I still keep them !
I just brought these trainers yesterday, and all I can say is... I wish I watched this review before purchasing them as I'm already regretting it, as these trainers are everything you've mentioned in this video. I'm very disappointed Louis Vuitton needs to do better.

I did actually pop the flat insoles into them the after and...WOW!!! made a huge difference I've opted to keep them, soooo super comfy now... Thanks for the tip. Xxx

No 😁, I kept them in the end and I have been wearing them the most out of all my shoes. I wasn't happy with the amount I was going to get for selling them, too low. thanks for watching, stay safe and blessed 😘🙏🏾
Does size 36 fit 23cm foot length? Is this true to size?
Yes it does...I do have about 23cm foot length and I usually wear a size 37, but these sneakers are big and size 36 fits perfect.
