There have finally been some crazy rumors about the free gift with purchase that will come with the LEGO Lord of the Rings 10333 Barad-Dur set! I'm going to dive into the latest news and discuss what we might be getting!

I really hope that's true, but I also hope they release it as a standalone, because I guarantee I won't be able to afford barad dur

My thoughts too. Though if it’s anything as good as the recent Rivendell and even Avengers Tower sets then I know I can’t sleep on it!

I have a hard time understanding what these minifigures could be. I just don’t see them doing a witch king as an exclusive minifigure. This is Barad Dur we are talking about, not Mina’s Tirith or Osgiliath. Also, I don’t see them including eowyn or Theoden for this matter since they are irrelevant to Barad Dur. I can only see them including a Nazgûl figure and maybe somehow some second age characters like Elrond, Isildur, or even Elendil would be amazing. The only situation I could understand them including Eowyn, Theoden, or Merry (Rohirrim esquire) is if it’s a teaser for a Minas Tirith set next.

That’s fair enough. I was just taking a stab in the dark at what they might be. At least the Witch King, Theoden, and Eowyn make sense from a ROTK scene standpoint, even if it isn’t directly linked to Barad Dur. I guess we’ll see soon when we get official confirmation!!

Maybe a gollum figure since he was captured and taken their and tortured by sauron. They also probably will include the very first sauron figure for the set
