I’m a young boatless man the lives in downtown Madison. Love your vids, how about take a fan fishing segment!!! You can scoop me at any dock on Monona or Mendota. Let’s make it happen.
2:49 One of the coolest strikes I've had fishing was seeing a 35 inch Pike hammer my spotted spoon right by me, that very weekend we had 5 30+, biggest being 38 and 37. There's a reason Pike are my favorite fish!
The content is good! I've watched a ton of your stuff. I'm gonna look you up next season, see if i can talk you into taking a shot with the fly rod. It's definitely a blast.
I had they exact same thing happen to me last time I went musky fishing. The temps were in the same range too(upper70's). Every musky was aggressive but would just nip at the baits. It seemed that a pause before figure 8ing is what would hook them. You guys might try experimenting with that. I was using large perch shad raps.
This week has been rough for me. Hooked my wrist and dislocated my thumb so now I can’t go fishing for 2 months but your vids have helped a lot. Keep up the great vids.
Great vid! Thanks for taking us along and showing us how not to do it.😱 (Just couldn’t resist even at the risk of being band from the channel for the rest of 2020.) Please forgive me! 🙏 I promise to watch all future episodes and to re-watch the video where you, Robbie and Heidi catching 12 in one long day in the same area.
Todays Angler: that is the main reason I’ve watched and enjoyed so many episodes over the years. You show it like it is, which includes your vast knowledge on how to catch these illusive creators. Thanks for creating a great channel!
I was 1/2 way through the video when I realized you guys were in Brian's boat and not Lee's. Not that it matters. I guess I'm so used to watching both of you that I don't know who's channel I'm watching. I liked those weather conditions. Thought you'd have put a monster in the net but sometimes the fish have other plans.
Time on water where there is a good musky population, just stay out there as much as possible and keep mental notes or write them down. Where you see them, what they bit on conditions and such. Eventually you will learn and can apply what You have learned to other bodies of water. Most of just be out there.
Good vid but shouldn’t you not be musky fishing during this time of the year? When the water temperature is in the 80s the oxygen levels are the surface of the water gets really low and can kill the fish.
Aidy # 80 I'm using a 10" stealth 135# leader. I like using these as figure 8s with a shorter leader are much wider. The longer the leader, the more you're corners are cut off. Never been bit off. Could it happen? Sure. But I could also get hit by a meteor tomorrow. I'll take the very low chance of a bite off to gain the advantage boatside.
Great action day. Great video Lee.
Great stuff guys... keep it up

It's about time you returned. Think it's time for you and wife to move up north as well. Let me know if you'd rent a room. Lol
If you missed our last vid I suggest you check it out. This was actually filmed before it.
I still dont understand how any of todays angler vids get any thumbs down doesnt make any sense to me. Needs more thumbs up though 🙂
I've had musky on Monona stick their heads out of the water and look around so many times......and everytime I am bass fishing.
Another great vid Lee, always a pleasure seeing a TA youtube notification popup on my phone!
Are there much difference between 1 gen Chaos rods and Tackle industries tele rods,?
Much less breakage and better actions.
Good stuff Lee.
Love the vid! 👍

Finnegan Jaeger This was filmed weeks ago before the water temps got too high. If I remember right the water temps were 75-76.

Brian's leader looks very short 😬 # Bite off city

Too many "f" words!
🤷♂️I agree, sorry. Lol
@@TodaysAngler You are totally forgiven! Pretty easy to get excited when chasing big toothy critters! Or any fish for that matter!
