Hey Brent I have a few things I wanna mention. 1- I agree with you about when we find out the new head coach. I believe the big rumblings will start tomorrow and the latest will be Wednesday. 2- I personally believe that Schrader would be the perfect TE in the NFL, he has that sneaky speed and he’s tough. Last thing and you might scratch your head at this, but I think Wake Forest could be a new rival, if my memory serves me right, minus the 2006 game the games they’ve played have for the most part been exciting back and forth, nail biting, etc. throw the records out kind of games.
Hey Shane. All well said. I gotta say, you ay be right on Wake Forest. Boston College is technically the rival, but that goes hot and cold. SU-Wake Forest has had some really good games in recent years and some memorable moments (Trill Thrill, Shrader Surprise). Watching Shrader pull a Villari would be something. I don't think he has an NFL future at QB. But he's been doubted before.
@@brentaxemedia oh of course BC is the primary rival followed by Pitt. I know they released the updated schedule and its a shame they won’t be playing until 2028.
I want Dan Mullen or Sean Lewis, Mullen is my first choice though. Hes a proven winner and has a good record developing QBs. Alex Smith, Tebow and Prescott.
The bowl might be Shrader's last chance to play competitive football. He's not an NFL quarterback and he's got to be realistic enough to know that. I'll be surprised if he doesn't play. Last four SU-Wake games in the Dome: 43-64, 39-30 (OT), 37-40 (OT), 35-31. Anyone who is wondering if they should go to the next one: the answer is YES!.
That actually was one of the more complete games offensively we've seen in a long time.. the defense however almost wet the bed.. but good win all the way around...
We should be concerned re: the next head coach. Wildhack has not been much of a winner in making that selection. And, please, let's not have Doug Marrone back. Please.
Yes, geography and recruiting (NLI, etc.) are roadblocks to top-20 type seasons but we can still go 8-4 or so with the right schedule and the right coach.
Mullen had great record in the sec with 2 different teams Florida kicked him and look we’re there at??????? Worse off Florida kick him because the want a national championship
Ahh babies 👶 said grandpa was watching every snap babies 👶 is kuku lost his mind. In Babers delusional mind he thinks su actually had a chance, the truth is su wants to be a mediocre team and they would never be in a huge bowl game like the rose 🌹 bowl, those are reserved for teams that worked hard and despite the propaganda, Shaffer wasn’t a good quarterback, I highly doubt he will make the NFL, he will probably be like Dungy had a big mouth and nothing became of it, scouts want players that can play in the NFL not quarterbacks who beat crappy teams. So bye bye babies 👶 grandpa in his kuku mind has left the building
New coach . . . what about bringing Paul Pasqualoni back? He had the second best W-L record for SU football. I realize he hasn't sparkled in any of his subsequent jobs. And why did he leave SU after what? 14 years? I have no recollection on that. I know the players loved him, and he recruited and then sent some great guys on to the NFL. Just a thought.
I can't believe that Wildhack offered Babers to finish the season. I thought getting rid of Babers sent a message this is not CUSE Football. It looked real good for CUSE to go into and win the final game of the season, waiting a bowl birth, and get a jump on recruiting a coach. The message is all positive and they've moved on (providing they hire a great coach).
With Shrader moving on, Villari would be a great choice for next years' QB. BTW, WF is a great team. Yes, the W-L has not been good, but Dave Clawson is a fabulous coach and a quality guy. WF will be back troubling the Orange for many seasons to come.
One way or the other, you want Villari in a position to make plays. Don't know if he could train his way back to being a full-time QB, but you're wasting him as just a tight end. They found that out and hopefully the new coach sees that.

Shrader is an injury waiting to happen, no shot at nfl

He’s a second class quarterback

Charles Huff needs to be looked at.

Rockin’ Ron for Head Coach
I'm in!
How about Su spending some money for a real coach that came from the NFL? They prefer mediocre coaches it seems
@@KJJ782 it was just a joke lol
Who on earth would be in shraders ear telling him he's an nfl candidate... too injured and not a great thrower of the ball

Are you delusional? SU sucks they will never be a Michigan or Alabama never ever
How bout the Michigan offensive co-ordinator..he is also the offensive line coach and hrs young
Please, Mullen is NOT the answer, Florida couldn't wait to get him out the door, he's a horrible in-game manager. We need Chesney or Cignetti

Get it right his name is babies 👶

Jason Candle or Bob Chesney for Head Coach
How about Pete Carroll? Why doesn’t SU actually spend some money to get a better coach?
