I had heard this before and this is a concerto that should be in the standard repetoire. What a fabulous piece this is and whoever is the fiddle player is damn good!
Très beau concerto et en plus très bien écrit pour le violon. Il mériterait de figurer au répertoire de nos violonistes !!!! Merci à HenriVieuxtemps de cette mise en ligne précieuse avec la partition
Phew! What are the orchestra and conductor? Plaintive and virtuosic! Respighi also wrote a violin concerto "Gregoriano". It 's on TH-cam, with quite a lot of Wolf-Ferrari including the complete operas "il Segreto di Susanna" (comic. It's smoking!) and "I Gioelli della Madonna" (tragic).
Such a beautiful piece, I wish I could play it but I can't find the sheet music anywhere. It's not on imslp because of copyright, and I can't even find it on any online music stores. Where did you get the sheet music for the video?
I have been addicted to this concerto since mid 2000s. Loving on Ermanno since '80s.
And there is still so much to "unpack" here!
Absolute beauty.very talented violinist.
Glorious delightful piece, alot of vigor energy ,virtuosity,.endurance on the player.
in the beginning, It's like they are tuned at 446Hz. The flutes, god my ears...
Along with Mozkowski, Machavariani, Schumann,,Respighi (2), and Nielsen, a much neglected masterpiece.

First time in my life that I have heard this work. Thank you to the owner of this channel for this upload.
Very well known for Intermezzo [from Jewels of The Madonna] and for his opera Susann's Secret.
This is wonderful ! Definitely one of the best youtube channels

Good question
Seriously, I'd like to share this with a FB group, and I like to give them the full information on the links.
Wolf-Ferarri, Always the musical magician. Can we name that last movement Allegro arioso?
rare piece
Good question.
Where can I find the sheet music for this piece
why on earth is the 2nd movement notated in E when it's in F#?
?
Do you have a complete orchestral sheet ?
Starting 25:58 I start to melt....
Wolf-Ferrari: I quattro rusteghi - Intermezzo - EDOARDO MÜLLER
My God! This was a live performance, wasn't it?
The orchestra part is pretty but a bit lacking, and the recording is a bit out of tune but I’m really liking this piece!
Recorded 1972.
who is the violinist?
Guila Bustabo
@@TahseenNakavi Also recorded by Ulf Hoelscher, who is a fine violinist.
Whos the player? May i ask please.?
very well at first, but then it loses in a long "solo", and where is the orchestra, the dialog with her?
