Larcin is my favourite to do Rat tactics with. Get in a fight, deal damage, Expertise out of there. and camp the nearest health station as an object or different person from the one they saw you as. Camp the stage one vaults after getting my gold upgrade I find a second one and just sit as an object waiting for others to come and get it, then kill them as they try to hack it. Get the briefcase, if there are 2 or more people left, I try to herd them like sheep so they are together. at range just shoot one and expertise away and they usually one off, and then you are free to pick up a free kill or just extract while they are distracted.

Haven't watched the video yet, but I'm pretty sure the ability to use invisibility to get behind people when the don't expect it is going to get mentioned. Greatest game of deceive that I've had, I got to a fire fight between the package carrier and someone else, killed the other person cause I thought they had the package, realized they didn't have it, then used invisibility to get around the stair case to the package carrier without them realizing I'd gone invisible, shot them in the back of the head and killed them before they realized what happened. I also won that match because I used invisibility defensively against the last spy
I actually like the second passive, because it means your first hit does an extra 15 damage because a lot of people run the 15% health and if they have the gold chip they lose that when you hit them. I almost never melee, I tend to dump my clip, expertise get behind them point black headshot and they tend to die very quickly. I haven't unlocked the 3rd weapon yet so I havent tested it out.
Actually, you do LESS damage total... the damage you do comes first, and THEN the total health pool is reduced. Let's visualize this for a moment. You shoot, you do, let's say, 16 damage. Enemy now has 99/115 health, they drop their yellow health upgrade, now they have 99/100 health. You did 1 damage. xD Don't use it, bro. xD Honestly, the way damage works in this game, health upgrades are a waste of upgrade slots, 100 health is more than enough for the majority of the game, if you can't kill your target with that much HP, you deserve to die anyway. That's why you'll gradually see less and less people using health upgrade, in favor of being able to heal with social battery, instead of relying on medical stations, for instance... Lmao, i actually SUPER-clutched a game with Social Battery, lmao, my most satisfying game as Larcin... The last guy probably thought i was hacking, because form his perspective, i had like 400 health. xD Dude ran out of ammo and was 5 steps away from preventing my extraction before i won. I ran circles around that fool. >:3 I couldn't shoot back, because i had NO intel, and NO ammo, lmao, so i had to just run away, and social-battery around until i either found intel, or ammo. Found nothing, mimiced on the extraction point, and got out while dude wasted his last bullet killing an NPC that looked like me. xD
I love the second passive too. In a 1v1 fight I usually get more advantage because they lost their best chip. Although the first one allow you to steal without them noticing you, the second one allow you to win a fight.
Hmm, well, if this guy's yellow upgrade is hacking, and you assume most people use their yellow slot for something non-essential to combat, because that's how smart people play, then no, the second passive does NOT help you in combat, at all. and the THIRD one is the one that allows you to steal without being noticed, the first one is the default one. :P
Thanks for the guide now I know how to play as a spy from tf2. Wait a minute... THIS IS NOT A GUIDE TO A SPY FROM TF2. Well, okay, it's still cool and informative thanks 👍

Agreed, fair 1v1 are not made for him but he is the biggest rat and trickster in the game

Decent guide. It's interesting how different our builds are even tho we have the same views on the characters strength.
Disagree on the steel reef map. There's a way to do it. It's just different from the other maps.
