can a person become a dentist and at the same time a doctor of another profession like brain?.

Doctor takes longer. Technically, when you are a Resident, you are a Resident physician, so by that gauge, it takes the same time. But to be an attending physician, which means your training is finished, it takes 4 years of undergraduate college, 4 years of medical school, and then 3-7 years of residency with a possible fellowship thrown in. Dentists is 4+4.

You can always become a Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, you'll be a dual degree dentist (DDS or DMD) and physician (MD).
