Very entertaining highlight reel. Nice touch how you made the screen shake every time someone got planted. Lot's of throws and tosses in Russian wrestling compared to America, which to me personally is more exciting to watch.

Russians truly are the kings of wrestling and this is coming from an American/European. And quite frankly, its not even close. You have Iran with 6 World level championships, America with 9, and Turkey with 7. These three countries are all good at wrestling with so much talent. And then you have Russia with 43 world level championships. Its not even close. In fact, most of the best wrestlers in any style freestyle, Greco, etc come from Russia. Its truly incredible just how good they truly are. And whenever the Russians do get beat from an American, Iranian, or the Turks, its usually when the wrestler is a prodigy or has worked the hardest. By no means am i saying that America, Turkey, or Iran aren't good but that's what separates them from Russia. In wrestling, Turkey, America, and Iran are good, very very good, but Russia is Great is wrestling. Much respect to Russia
Actually, the great majority of Russian wrestlers of high calibre are Muslims (Dagestan, Chechnya and etc) or Siberians (Yakuts) including almost all wrestlers in this video. Probably 90% of all great Russian champions come from a small region of Caucasus in southern Russia.
@@arystanbeck914 Your right and my bad for confusing things up. I've heard about The Caucausus. It contains Georgia, Dagestan, Azerbaijan, and more. Those people are just a different breed. Whenever genetics and stuff is brought up I'm pretty proud of being Caucasian and European but my blood is more down the line of Spaniards mixed with other stuff. However, the people of The Caucausus are the purest most Caucasian group of humans on the plan t based on MY KNOWLEDGE. If there is any other group that is more Caucasian then these people I would like to know but as far as I know they are the purest breed of Caucasian. Built for power and sturdiness. Hell the strongest man in the Olympics for just put lifting weights Lasha Talakhadze won gold in 2012 for the snatch and clean and jerk. This dude literally snatched 500lbs and he is just one of many people from the Caucausus. You have people like Khabib (27-0) in the UFC and probably the best wrestler currently (EASILY), you have Zabit Magomedsharipov (17-1) in the UFC and that one loss was early in his career. Not only that but people say he's a better fighter than Khabib overall in terms of skill, then you got the Russian tank Sadulaev who in my opinion is the best wrestler in the world as of right now (if he is not then let me know who is). He has won all gold except for ONE and it was a silver in Paris 2017. People from Caucausus are just a different breed and have a completely different mindset. Respect from America and the world 🇺🇲🌎

I'm just talking about Russians (more specifically the people of the Caucausus) because this is a video about Russian wrestling. I do not want to come off as racist in any sort of way. African Americans have been dominant in most sports like Football, Basketball (especially basketball), Track, and more. Like I said, I give credit where credit is due but I was talking about the Russians because the video is about Russians. From the way I see it African Americans possess way more athleticism while Caucasians are more stocky and built. This is not an insult to say African Americans aren't strong as of recently Iron Biby has beat Eddie Hall's axel(or maybe it was log) overhead press record, Mark Henry is strong asf, Larry Wheels is up there too and more. I respect all nation's and races but I'm talking about Russians because this video is specifically talking about Russians and wrestling

@@akhmediar7767 в последнем правиле в каждом раунде было по 2 минуты,и если два борца не сделают баллы то тогда будет жребий,и все ждали всегда жребий. И когда один из них выигрывал раунд на следующем раунде все начиналось сначала,баллов не было. А сейчас они стараются получить по больше баллов. Разница в том что на по по-старому правилу борцы выигрывали раунд,а сейчас чисто до конца. Можешь посмотреть до 2012 года наверное,или 2008 год олимпиаду. Очень скучная борьба

@Joseph Reed tsabolov is not what he use to be. i love his style and he is absolute beast but he lost the russian final to kurbanaliev. so its either sidakov or kurb.
@Joseph Reed no kurb wrestled 70 last year won bronze. this year he went to 74.
@Joseph Reed who knows? JB is getting old. he's not as fast as he once was but he wrestles tighter these days. honestly it was a coin toss between him and sidakov last year. JB would have very little problems with kurg though. his only obstacle is still Chamizo.
The evolution of that sport from 10 years ago is crazy. In 10 years from now they will end in wheelchair.
I was watching the training session and they combined martial arts like Judo it's very brilliant.

Looks like russian wrestlers make a good use of Judo... i can still remember Buvaisar saitiev style, brilliant techniques, combining judo moves with wrestling, the smartest wrestler ever in my opinion.
I wonder if a day will come when seeing a wrestling mat won't be accompanied by an adrenaline release? I hope not.
The sport is amazing, and as for where I am situated geographically/culturally, they don't get the notice or support they deserve.
