- World of Tanks has released new "Loot Crates." They call them "War Chests" here on the console. Every Black Friday I buy 25,000 gold to spend on all the specials. This time, I decided to put my money into the "Hero" War Chests and I was not disappointed. Not only did I get a ton of gold for Black Friday, but I also got some new toys.

i find it funny how many people are complainting about the loot boxes these have got to be the best lootboxes in any game that have it

Payed with the worst Money/Gold ratio available for sure.
I did my math and they actually become 100% worthy buyed one by one as you percieve the same amount of gold as you can purchase separately as usual and more stuff with probability of earning way more. But as you buy more of then in a row, chances of getting that profit disminish.
Sure are some of best loot boxes available in any game? Probably, but the problem of loot boxes on itself starts when those are puchased with real money instead than having an option or else being able to be bought with game money (like in forza 7 until this month or Battlefield 1 as examples)
And that op that gives you one after 75 wins? Too many wins required considering the poor matchmaking the game has...

Last month i bought the $50 pack of heroes. I got the revenant krafts panther twice and earned $100 worth of gold.

Thanks man. Was going to buy my usual 25000 gold for $100 on black friday until I watched this. Got the 27 hero chests. Total 27925 gold, glory IS5, skorpion G, king tiger, tiger 131, and hmh amx mle 49. Plus about 1000,000 silver a few days premium and a ton of boosts.

When I got my 27, I got the Adler, Senshi Sta 2, King Tiger, a ton of gold, and a lot of boost ops.

Not watched video yet but spend wisely guys. Some has had great fortune while others didn't get a Tank. Don't buy these expecting to get a Tank (that's a bonus) but if it's Gold you're after it's probably worth it (more tanks you own the better as you get gold value back).
Spent one today and I got the glory IS5. Great luck but that's probably the only one I'll buy

Just spent £65 on this not a single tank and only one crew member, then bought £40 worth of general loot boxes and nothing either so spend your money wisely

Those are some really good roles. last night open the big 1and got two premium tanks and over a $100 in gold plus all Sorts of goodies.
I was quite fortunate when I bought two of the $30 hero crates. Rolled for about $260 worth of stuff. 4 premium tanks "one of which I had". The gold payout was a lot. Very satisfied with the results... would have been either way but like I said.... was very fortunate.
I am soooo bummed that you got the HMH M4 Mle 49!!! I paid a lot of Gold to get it myself when it came out last year, and it is frustrating that WG put it out there, and the 13-57 too. But hey, I am not going to have much qualms about it, it is good that you got yourself a very fun tank to play, and a nice looker at that....

I picked up a 20 chest bundle too, and got two tanks. Since I owned one, I ended up with the gold value, so around 32k gold and 800k silver for the lot, along with a bunch of boosts and crew vouchers. Can't complain.

I haven’t played in a while so not too sure where the meta’s at, but HMH AMX M4 49 was one of the best teir 8 premiums, nice haul. I’m amazed that WoT actually has somewhat fair RnG.
I’ve bought 3 hero’s chests over the last few weeks and got a skorpion g in my first and the a fair bit of gold and boosts! It seems better value than just buying gold but it is a gamble!
I bought the 15$ package last month and I got a KV-122 and citadel Tiger. I'm new to the game but I think I did well. I love the KV 122 it makes so much silver per game

I once bought one of those 23 commanders chest packages and got 12 premium tanks out of it plus 6 premium crews. Since I already had most of the premium tanks which were tier 8's, i ended up with over 46k gold. I couldn't believe it, I am never that lucky lol

I had $6 on my PS4 account and decided to just try one $1.99 chest and off just that 1 I received a 450 gold and IS-2, 1 garage slot and and a crew customization voucher. I definitely was lucky! Thank you RNG!!

Probably the best chests next to the special event chests. On wot site it even says hero's chest has the best value for tanks and crew mostly all high ranked

Years ago around the same time this was uploaded I spent the most I’ve spent on the game up to that point spent $120 and got the minuteman 3 times and got a mountain of gold that lasted me forever lol. Miss those days before 6.0 and covid

When these first came out I bought 17 of the hero boxes and got 7 premium tanks. I think they nerfed it because I haven't seen anyone else get that lucky

I got an IS 5 from a free one I earned from an op once I was well gassed cuz I didn’t realise u could actually get tanks from war chest and I bought like 50 quids worth over time but just got shite ones from the ones I purchased.

I don't get why they give you the crew with the special skill instead of just giving you the skill to attach to any crew. I like the special skills but it is not worth training a whole new crew

Same here. Nothing, around 8k gold total. Then bought 6 General boxes and got a Dragon, King Tiger, Strv42, and Jim White.... The better deal for me. (The reason I bought the second time was to get 12k total for the years premium on black friday)

I got a dragon type 62 tank out of a single 2.99 chest and I don’t even play light tanks.
