@mchaids Because Marv/Quest revealed that they stole the tapes and even showed them as evidence in a recent Grindtime 2 on 2 battle. Search for the battle with Quest/Marv vs Dirtbag Dan/Soul Khan. Seems legit they stole it because they were very pissed at the judging on their 3rd battle against Illmac/Saurus in the finals and made it very clear in their post-battle interview. I love them two cats and are some of my fav battle rappers, but they're serious assholes for stealing the tapes.
IF they stole the tapes .. For all we know , it could've been Arkaic and Eurgh that did it cause they got robbed in the Wapps/Juce battle , but unfortunately we'll never know exactly who did it .. This case is stale , but I do wish all the tapes were recovered ...

Man the format needs to change if they have this again. Awesome event to watch and follow. But this video/finals don't do the event justice. Both teams are SOOO fatigued that they can't even bring it. I mean this is like the 15th round they've had to spit in one night. Watch this video compared to the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals and there is such a huge difference in the energy level :/
