- CORRECTION -- The planting sheet was unclear so I mix up varieties in the conclusion. After forensic analysis, I believe what we're looking at in this video is Burbank Russets (which I call Russets/Yukon Gold) and Yukon Gold (which I refer to as Kennebec). The Kennebec potatoes were planted elsewhere.
OVERVIEW
In this video, I weigh the output of 35 row-feet of potatoes planted in a cardboard substrate, fertilized with commercial 10-10-10 fertilizer, and then mulched with straw. Total harvest was 70 lbs. +/- for the 35 row-feet for an approximate yield of 2lbs/foot. Grown in usda zone 4.
** Tips greatly appreciated! **

Your videos are very good and you have a large knowledge base. You need more subscribers!
I appreciate that! With spring on the way, I'm hoping to post some new content soon. Thank you :)
Good video.
Would you do it again?
I would definitely do it again if I have excess cardboard. No potatoes this year but I will probably plant potatoes in the spring and will probably use good ol'' straw because I'll have some excess and it is easier to spread.
