Being a purser is tough! Thank you for sharing your day at work! Makes us passengers understand more what happens behind the scenes before the flight starts and during the flight. We passengers usually get impatient waiting to board but seeing this video made me realize how much work you do even before we board the plane (and youre not even paid for that extra hour you need to come in early!). I enjoyed watching this video! Just wondering, how long do they allow you to sleep during flights? I feel like every FA is awake during long hauls.
Thank u and I appreciate the comment. Our rest depends on how long our flight is and the services we have to make. But approx 3to5hours is normally wat we get.

Recently we flew on Qatar Airways and l have to say although lve flown with Emirates too we much preferred Qatar and the layover in Hamad Airport was out of this world...Way to go ladies you work amazingly hard to ensure our comfort ❤

Such an informative video. Only question I have is how long is your rest and how do you make sure you wake up on time because in the air your constantly changing time zones, so does your phone not get confused 😂
Thats why we wear watches. We wake up each other if someone overslept. We also base our timings in 1 timezone so we are on track.

Cabin service director will make a service only business class and when we are make safety check before takeoff and landing cabin service director will walk around the airplane to check from front cabin to behind the cabin?

Purser on Qatar airways is same Thai Airways? Now Thai Airways have purser 2 positions is crew in charge and zone supervisor. The crew in charge on Thai Airways = cabin service director on QR will Take responsibility in First class business class, and zone supervisor= cabin senior will take responsibility in economy class ?
Yes sort of. But Cabin services director is also an overall in-charge. Service is different.

I think Qatar airways the cabin crew who must to make announcements on the flight it’s same Thai Airways. Because Thai Airways the cabin crew who are seated at door 1L will acting as the announcer on the flight. Qatar is not this?
No. Qatar airways may assign anyone to do the announcement..in this case I as a purser is doing the announcement 😊

What is the difference between a purser and the other flight attendants? Sorry I am new to this so I'm so curious and I see your uniform a bit different that the other flight attendants which they wear red skirt and your's is black... And sometimes I see you guys wear pants
Purser is a supervisor incharge of the passengers and flight attendants. We all have the option to wear skirts or trousers. I hope I answered ur question 😃

Qatar has the most overworked cabin crew… Horrible experience on my last 3 flights. They are not the best for sure, not even close to the top 10. Also “great” customer support, see Josh Cahill’s video for more…

I like this airlines because this airline is better than a Alves no Thai our way. It’s not good and very loss money. When after COVID 19 the company will retry the nationality cabin crew now Thai airways have only Thai cabin crew. Because they don’t have money.

Lets hope they are treated better than Emirates! Long haul in atrocious Economy - crews were exhausted and harrassed! Had to reprimand two Pursers as to their ovebearing and totally acceptable behaviour to young female cabin crew - disgraceful!
