I brought a tempest a few months back, really pleased with it. Does what is says on the tin as they say. Are you happy with yours? I have added an air line to mine. Works well and agitates the media a little better I think.
Good idea with the air line. How have you fitted the air line and to where? I’m finding it does a good job but unless you flush it daily it builds up a lot of growth and makes it hard to clean out. Going to clean and insulate it for the winter.
@@TarkMalbot Hi, I removed the clear air tube and then connected it to my EA air pump. When I clean, I turn off both valves, drop the water level down a bit, then remove the top 1.5” black screwed in pipe, replace with a piece of 1.5” pipe that sticks out of the top ( I’ve found this stops the K + flying out with the force of the air 🙃) Then I’ll leave it for 5 minutes to boil, then drop the waste water, do this a couple of times. To get it really clean I fill from the open top with clean water, then let this boil again for a bit. Drop that, then it’s all done.

This is the third clean
Looks like a lot of bits still coming through it over that water blade. Dont think they are worth the money
That’s just for the few seconds after cleaning it due to everything being disturbed. You don’t see any visible fines after 10seconds or so.
