@@DailyClipztt Hi D! if you don't need a knob on the top of the unit, here is another alternative with adjustable flow rate on the front of the unit amzn.to/3vwm8u8 Cheers!
I bought auto line pro Ventus in July and used it once and it’s not working This looks much better minus the fact it needs separate power The fact you tested it on an SRT-4 might of sold me on buying this while I wait to see about the “life time” warranty on my Ventus unit
Thank you Amador! Ah yes to check specific engine codes, I use an OBD2 scanner and the service manual of the car. And if you don't have access to the service manual you can try a reader like this one th-cam.com/video/i54ecBgRpUM/w-d-xo.html that can pull the code but also tell you what the fix for that code is. And here is my car lift amzn.to/3yLRD2k Cheers!
I just buy the Ancel S300 but im afraid to use it in the evap system because i dont know how strong it will be. I wish i buy this one better!! Thank you for sharing great video!!
You're welcome! Ah, yes, the Ancel is more portable (smaller) and fires up faster than the V4, but yes, it does lack PSI control. However as long as you are careful using it you should be ok (there are plenty of smoke machines without PSI control), the way I use mine is, I just keep an eye on the PSI needle and turn it off when it reaches the desired PSI (the service manual will tell you how much PSI the EVAP system can handle) Cheers!
Its been 1 years since this video. would you still recommend this Smoke machine? I'm on the look out for one and came across your video. Great work and awesome video.
Hi C! So far is still working (but will update this comment if something changes) and if you don't need independent PSI control and want something super compact here is another one th-cam.com/video/nYIxAlM46nM/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Hi A! This would depend on your vehicle, some may require either vents or openings to be closed before testing (like my exhaust example shown in the video) Cheers!
Hi Mario! Correct, this smoke machine allows you to control both the PSI and the Flow rate. If you need something more basic (and smaller) with only flow control here is good alternative th-cam.com/video/nYIxAlM46nM/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Hi Andrew! I would recommend checking your service manual for a pressure spec, normally I use about 1 psi to find leaks but some people do apply higher pressures than that, just depends on the vehicle being worked on and what the factory recommend for leak testing. Cheers!
You're very good at what you do here brother. I aprpeciate the clarity and professionalism. WELL DONE!!
Thank you ozam!
Nice review and explanation. I have the same smoke machine. The build quality is excellent and equivalent to machines I've seen for 3x the price.
Thank you Simon! Yeah definitely a pretty well built machine, Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFunis this the only machine on the market where you can adjust air pressure output with top knob?
Personally I couldn't see anything else

Did you get warranty ?
Great video. Do you help or give advise on what to troubleshoot for a specific check engine code? Also, what type of lift are you using. Thanks

Don't you need to close the vent with scanner before checking for leak?

The air compressor will stop at desired air pressure set up?

How much pressure for checking for exhaust leak?

@@AlexAutoFun I will google. It is on a 2013 chevy sonic. New Catalytic and still get catalytic converter error code.
gostei muito mas moro muito longe e não seio quanto custa mas e muito bom mesmo
Hi Encanto! I put the link to the smoke machine in the video description. Cheers!
