Adelaide O-Bahn - an on-bus view of the guided busway (Stage 1 - 1987)

This official film shows the normal high speed run of the Adelaide O-Bahn (aka North-East Busway) from Paradise (a suburb) to Adelaide. Dated 4 May 1987, the vidoe shows the complete journey along Stage 1 of the kerb guided busway (before Stage 2 was built).

Fantastic video. My favourite type of buses too a 0305 ridiged and the 0305G Artic Mercedes-Benz buses.

5:53 omg! That buzzing sound! I had forgotten about that. Also, some of those older busses had a buzzer that would sound whenever the driver would take their foot off the brake while the bus was stationary. I miss those older busses.

It's weird seeing this video. As a high schooler that uses this on a nearly daily basses, it's odd to see the o'barn so new. It currently looks really over grown compared to this video. Would have been cool to see it like this in really life
