For more working area under the lift I purchased the Atlas XH-PRO9000 extra tall extra wide.
This video is the assembly of my 4 post lift. If you want to know how easy or ...?... how difficult it is. This is the video.
This lift has added space to my shop. I am keeping my project "Celica Street Rail" on it. If I need to bring in another car to work on there is plenty of head room under the lift.

Thanks for posting. Slightly different than my model but many helpful tips.
Thanks for commenting. Good to hear it helped
Just put my lift together watching your entire video in sections as we assembled it. Super-helpful. Thanks!
Thank you
Great video, Made setting up this lift much easier, Thanks for taking the time to video this install.
Thanks, good to hear that it helped
I watched your video and because of you I built my lift today without a single hiccup. Thank you!
My lift is made by Nationwide but it was exactly the same as yours down to the misprints in the directions.
That is great to hear 👍.
Same down to the misprints in the directions 🤣.
Thank you for posting this video.....it helped me out.
Saved me a lot of time, thanks
Great video!
I cried watching this video dented scratched didn't not put foam or any cushions. Made this look 50 times harder than required. Passemger side ramp covered in scratches and gouged.
😢 no dents, only scratches are on the ramp that was the bottom of the crate (From forklifts). It could have been packed a bit better, Some protection from the forks. Oh well it's not a show piece it's a working piece of equipment.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video. It was awesome and helped me put mine together.
Good to hear that it helped. thanks for watching/ commenting
Thank you for the video. Exactly what fitting did you buy to reroute the hydraulic hose ? What is it called ? 3'8 " ??
I don't remember. I took the hose to a hydraulic supply place, and they had what I needed.
I just pricked up the Atlas Lift , no instructions where include , I followed your video , got it built and its working great , fantastic lift otherwise
👍👍
Very nice..what made you choose Atlas over other brands?
I have noticed on several videos of different brand lifts that they are similar to the point of being exactly the same. I wonder if Titan, Atlas, etc all sell the same exact lift with their logos stuck on.
That is a definite possibility. Same factory different decals
Just got a 9000lb. unit, did yours have a 1/4 in. plastic tube at one end of the cylinder?
Yes. The line goes to the top of the reservoir. It limits the amount of moisture the system takes in.
Great video, thanks. Just bought a used Atlas Garage Pro 8000 EXT. Trying to figure out the cable nut placement. I see you put a nut on each side of the column cup, it looks like the atlas videos have the 2 nuts on top of the column cup making the cable loose without tension. Cannot figure it out with the directions.
I thought about swapping the nuts both to the top. The cable were slack until the hydraulic cilinder puts a bit of tension on them.
Definitely should have two nuts on the top of the cables. Also should “really” have one on the bottom too.
What made you choose Atlas over other brands?
This is my second atlas lift. First was a 2 post.
Mostly price and advertised availability of repair parts from the dealer. I bought from "Greg Smith equipment", now "tooltopia". (Bought out or name change? I'm not sure) . I thought parts availability would be important, But I have not needed any parts. Lifts are still working perfectly.
@@TSRGarage sounds good. Atlas is local for me which is 1 big reason I am considering them
So it was upside down and backwards?
Ya ..lol. that's just the way they crate it. Would have been easy enough with some help. But I did some of it during the week while everybody else was at work.

You did a great job at getting that beast off the trailer and in the garage!👍🏻 Nice lift!!
@@helipro2245 thank you.
Good lift I am happy to have it. And....Cheapest way to add another bay to my shop.
Welded caster's? Splain
Well... it was under the 5.3 engine & transmission for the Celica SS project... and well.... I found the failure point. It is the center pin in the caster. Removed the casters and added a couple of heavy tack welds, she's strong as an ox LOL. As long as you lay 2x4s across it. I actually wrote "welded casters" on it. It gets all the heavy work 😁
Atlas instructions are pure garbage. Watching another manufacturer video I noticed they install their cables with the two nuts TOGETHER ON TOP of the cables to increase the downward strength of the cable by doubling the threaded area. Putting a nut on each side of the 1/2 plate doesn't accomplish anything. I'm wondering of the locking ladder should have both nuts on top also. Only reason I see putting a nut on each side of the locking ladder is to keep it from possibly lifting up while raising the lift.
Looking closely at Atlas photos of assembled units it looks like they use two bolts together on the cable for downward strength and 1 bolt on each side of the locking ladder for stability. I've emailed them to clarify.
