    where we control machining direction (G41, G42) in wire frame milling.

    Why not extend the Basic feature ( in the first example) so the tool loses contact with the 3d model ? this will give you a much better surface.

      Hello, in the second example, Max added tangent extensions to the toolpath using the Base Curve Start and Base Curve End settings in the operation. You're right that the same technique could certainly be used in the first example to extend the toolpath off the model between passes. Thanks for commenting!

    Usless soft ever, bad copy from mastercam.. not costumer frendly, very difficult.. never recomend it for somebody..

      BS, the newest version of E-sprit is so much more userfriendly than MasterCam. I would choose Esprit any day.
