Revell VW T3 Westy Syncro-Conversion

It's a twist on Revell of Germany's 1:25 scale Volkswagen T3 Westfalia Camper model kit. Using diagrams from VW Technical, and various reference images, I modified the chassis and fabricated new parts to convert the T3 into a Westy Syncro! There's still some touch-up to do, but I'm happy with the overall result. Enjoy and thanks for viewing, David

David, excellent conversion. I was wondering can you provide help in getting those extra parts and how you made the frame for the suspension. I want to make a syncro t3. Just ordered my revell kit. Thanks Nicolas

Thanks for watching! Pardon my delayed reply and I hope your Syncro T3 build was successful and fun! You can build a syncro from parts in the box, however the front differential, transfer case, driveshafts will have to be either scratch built or use a similar scaled 4X4 donor kit. I took some "artistic license", and I encourage it as this is a RWD set-up, so you'll be making some modifications as you convert to 4WD.
