@@JamesBaleLA I think maybe you could suggest to Happy Chime Noises that the video could focus around the importance of macro? Like “How this player climbed to master using only off meta champions”. Or it can be about theory crafting, and how to know whether an off meta pick works or not. Like “this player has no main, but are his picks random trolling or secretly genius?” Idk just some thoughts. I really hope Pekin can get a video with him!

Honestly it’s great seeing that your off meta vids are doing so well. I hope you’re able to make it to grandmaster with this concept! I’m also really enjoying it, and if you have to repeat a champ or two, I really don’t mind. I think you can even say something like “x y z champ carried in plat, can I carry in grandmaster?”
I feel like it’s understated how impressive it is that pekin climbed to masters THAT fast playing only off meta mid picks. Truly one of the greatest to play the game
If you're looking for ideas you could do another climb like this one, but instead of picking unfamiliar champions in a familiar role you could play familiar champions in unfamiliar roles. Aka control mages everywhere but mid and try to climb to masters again.

Quinn mid is a fun pick, glad I got to watch Pekin play it.
Quinn did used to have different abilities, kind of. Her ultimate used to be a transformation ability like Nidalee/Jayce where she became valor. Her abilities did the same thing but you became a melee assassin almost, your Q would apply the blind but in a small circle around you, your vault would still dash to someone but you wouldn't bounce back leaving you in melee, can't remember the W, that was the same I think.

I'm honestly a big fan of always maxing W on quinn even when building lethality, I think the extra movespeed and atk speed is really beneficial for harassing even if maxing Q would give more damage

You should play bruiser yone mid: lethal, overheal, alacrity, coup, conditioning, overgrowth. Phantom > bloodthirster > jakshow > steraks > deaths dance / spirit visage / guardian

Quinn is more of a mid game champ, but she can still do a lot late. Generally when I'm stuck in a "I'm fed be we can't end" situation, you go in all lane pushing, you are so fast with lvl16 R that you go bot push lane, then go top push lane, etc. And at some point the enemy runs all around the map, so they are not there and you can take a tower, or there's a fight and you arrive in the back and wipe them. Also lethality Quinn is better early, crit/on-hit Quinn is better late. But it can be hard if your team do not understand Quinn and they all start splitting and you are stuck team fighting wich is really not her strength, then you'll get focused and bursted and your 20 kills wont matter. Also nit picking, but Quinn hard counters Garen, you just need to cancel his Q with E, it will make him do it backward and it wont work and then you need to hit your mark cause it gives you movement speed, like here 29:10 you could've just turned for a single auto to proc the mark and you would've outran Garen.

I'm pretty sure the AP ratio on her Q is an old old holdover from when Trinity force gave AP off Sheen and she had her small stint of being meta bot lane back in like Season 3

You really should be maxing W second and not E. The damage on E is neglible, and you're unlikely to even get off a second E in a fight if you're picking people anyway. The movespeed and atk speed are super strong, and they make up for lacking the atk speed in your build. It's like maxing Q on support Annie. You're rarely ever going to get a full second rotation of spells in a fight over W, and especially now that E has been changed.
Against tanks, I still think Eclipse is great on Quinn, but you should definitely pivot towards Botrk, Lord Doms, etc. The mythic passive on Eclipse is really strong against tanks for the late game, but will still contribute early game since the item is so strong for dueling. Even though lethality is not good early against tanks, if you're ahead, it's still going to be massive.
Number 1 most important thing about Quinn is being ahead, and it's not changing whether the enemy is a tank or squishy, and lethality items are great at pushing that lead further.
I used to play lethality Quinn back in season 10 and this highkey made me want to start doing it again lol

Yeah cause Quinn's waveclear and objective taking is nothing special so getting snowballed doesn't super help with that. Her dueling also isn't that good unless you're ambushing with your ult. And you're sitting with a 1k bounty a lot of the time. Its a weird feeling to have that many kills but still not feeling like you can close out a game easily.

Pretty sure his main account reached challenger again this season. ControlMageEGirl was challenger in May but seems to have dropped to Master. So he basically has what you are suggesting. The main account where he plays the more meta picks. Mostly on twitch and sometimes posts those videos to his Pekinwoof2 TH-cam channel. And this account which he has been rocking the off meta picks.
