The Shield Bash Kaenic Rookern bonus damage was 634 * 0.085 = 53.89 so I rounded incorrectly by saying 53 but close enough! Thanks for all the support guys

Yes it appears that when you use your passive shield, it takes the dmg at the same time as kaenic, but it visually stays instead of disappearing

22:50 If anyone is wondering why the shield isnt going down on his health bar, its a visual bug. According to a dev the shield is working fine, its just that the visual indicator on the health bar will sometimes stick around despite the shield being broken.

That makes kaenic even more op because it mentally debuffs mages into thinking they do no damage 😅
It definitely is, the visual on the shield is doubled, and the bugged part never goes away. i just played a game with it too and it almost got me killed because i thought i wasnt taking damage for a while lmao

Yea I remember a video years back where he got a Quadra I think and complained that he can never get pentas on this champion. Glad season 14 finally gave that to him

in regards to the item set bug you mentioned in the intro, there is a way to prevent item sets from overwriting by making the item set file "read only"
(this is mostly used just for in-game settings, but it works for item sets as well, the only difference being that item sets have a client side file, and also an in-game side file)
note that this means you can't make changes to the set without closing the game and unticking the "read only" box again
