    Judas Priest was my first concert 1983 January. I hitchhiked with a buddy.. in a blizzard.. 80 miles. This album

    everybody needs this song in their morning motivation playlist! i for one was not at all disappointed when Rob came out. props to him for living his authentic self. sorry it took so long for him to feel he could be accepted being himself.

      I actually heard someone say (in one of those man on the street reactions) when news broke of Rob coming out, "I don't care if the guy humps water buffalos -- he can sing his ass off!" That's what I love about the metal community 🤘🤘

    I've been surprised for decades that nobody's ever done a hip-hop cover of this song. Standin' tall, self-determined and strong, don't even get in my way. It's a natural. somebody do it, please?

      British Steel hooked me for life. My number2 band. Gratefully seen 2 shows from the Firepower tour. Rob still hitting those high notes and screams at his age. Kickass shows.

    Also Bre, I love that you take a minute to just get a bit of background on a band you don't know about. It's one of the things that makes your channel special. Without ruining the react you want to know just a bit about them. LOVE that !

    Yeah. Like I said I LOVE this song. I think the guy who's head explodipated was from the British Ministry of Noise Pollution and he was investigating Judas Priest and... well...
    He got another thing comin'...

    The twin axe attack that is JUDAS PRIEST!!! You are hooked now. This was the first Priest song I remember ever hearing. I was 11 when it was released and MTV played it a lot back then. I fell in love with the heavy sound and never looked back. I have seen Priest live many times and they are 1 of a handful of bands that may just be better live than on record. Enjoy your Metal journey. \m/ \m/

    Yes Judas Priest invented this look of the leather and studs. Then everybody copied them after. Please do more Judas Priest reactions. Please react to Judas Priest Painkiller. This is how the band's sound evolved in reaction to bands like Metallica and Megadeth. And they nailed it

    Hey Bre. Nice to meet you and glad to see another music lover on here. I have a request. How about the song, Out in the Cold.? Also by Judas priest. Great song, too. I also suggest Painkiller. If you get a chance. Check out Queensryche as well. I'd start on their early stuff from the early 80's on to about 97. They are a Progressive metal band. Some of the best vocals metal too. I'm hitting the subscribe button to see more of what you are reacting to. Looking forward to more.

  • @chrissarina981

    The video was shot at a power plant. And the gentleman had a geiger counterchecking power or noise levels that were so high that his head blew up and pants fell off.

    • @paulwalsh2344
      @paulwalsh2344 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ Chris Sarina. The sign at the beginning was a "Noise Pollution Test Zone". Exploding head guy was using a 70's era VU meter to measure the sound level. You can almost see the "dB" on the face of it that's the measured unit of acoustic sound, the deci-Bell.
      So basically I thought this guy was from the British Ministry of Noise Pollution and he was investigating Judas Priest and... He got another thing comin'

    Priest changed with the times they were a hard rock bad that followed the times start with some of the early music do you can see the progression some of songs went thru changes and became different songs latter on check out victim of changes then work your way on to pain killer and you will see quite a contrast from early to later they never stopped evolving to present day.

  • @danieljohnston1798
    @danieljohnston1798 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Videos back in the early really didn't have a lot of meaning and most had nothing to do with the song lyrics. Just something interesting of shocking to go with the music. Just a backdrop for the song. Later in the 80's some directors tried to make little movies out of the songs, fit the story, but it's really more about the band and the music.

    Welcome to the world of The Metal Gods :-). I like this one but it is one of their cheesier songs. From their early catalogue you should try Victim of Changes, Beyond the Realms of Death or Tyrant. From their more Metal catalogue, try Freewheel Burning, Turbo Lover or Redeemer of Souls
