SHOWING SOME PACE! | SRK Championship 2023 Round 2 | Herefordshire Raceway Karting (Apr 9th 2023)

Back for the second round of the SRK Championship and I was really prepared to rectify the mistakes that were made in the last round. We were coming off of some good form, with solid pace coming here last year for our first ever outdoor event, so I was excited to show what we can do.
Unfortunately, fate had other plans, and this lead to a day of some amazing highs, but also some incredible lows. Let's see how we got on in the second race of the season!

Great video as always Ben! From what I can see you were driving brilliantly across the day. Your pace was mega and you were also making some really great decisive clean moves which I would expect from someone who’s only been to HR twice. Keep your head up high, you got unlucky in the heats but we all have those days. The important thing was you had the pace and racecraft to compete with the top guys. Regarding the guy turning into you on the back straight, it’s a slightly dirty tactic to lock the karts together to stop you from getting a better run. It can be annoying but some drivers do it and it is what it is really yk.

Was super happy with the pace and the amount of moves I was able to make throughout the day. Just was a bit of a shame that the cards didn’t really fall in my favour on the day.
Honestly was a bit confused when he was just turning into me but at least I was able to still sneak up the inside in the end.
Taking a lot of positives from the event and looking forward to the next one soon!
