Mass in Si minor by Johan Sebastian Bach - Budapest 2009

If there’s one piece that truly defines the "before and after" in a musician's journey, as I mentioned in the heading of this list, it’s the Mass in Si minor. I vividly remember gathering everyone backstage just minutes before the concert and saying, "We are about to perform something that may change us forever. We cannot go on stage and deliver this music unless our souls are at peace. So, if you have any unresolved issues with anyone, take a moment, use your phones before we turn them off, and try to make amends before stepping on stage.”
Unfortunately, there is no recording of the full concert, but these excerpts are enough to give you a sense of what happened that evening at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.
