To slip up = to make a mistake (work, relationship, government) I slipped up at work yesterday, I made a huge mistake, I lost my manager’s presentation. I slipped up last week, I forgot my wife’s birthday. 12. To flick through = to look through quickly (books, magazines) I was flicking through the newspaper the other day and I saw an article about healthy eating.
I took the IELTS Exam recently and I got an 8.0 Overall with 8 in Speaking thanks to your tips! To everyone looking for tips, this channel definitely works, highly recommended!

Without any proper speaking trainings you won't be able to obtain such a score. So, personally I don't beleive you that justwatching videos led you to the band 7,5

Watch several videos like this and try to grab certain phrases and try implementing them in different sentences. The best thing is practice a lot, I mean continuosly for certain days so that you can have a good catch in English

My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks.
