How long do you typically leave your fragrance blends to marry before using them in a candle? I’m just getting into candle making and was curious if it has to cure at all the way it does after the candle has been made?
So question. With my Jar I need 180 grams of wax and 18 grams of FO. Now I tried 3 blend of FO. FO1-9 grams of FO, FO2-5.4 grams of FO and FO3- 3.6grams of FO which =18 grams of FO as needed for my jar. Now I’m confused if the math is correct why is my wax sweating. I use COCO apricot and SOY10 to different wax and I follow the online instructions. Do u have any suggestions. ??? Thanks.
A tutorial that goes from strip test to actual blend. Really helpful. Also the important point here, that blending and letting it sit in a closed container for few days, has worked for me. Thanks ❤
When ever I don't know how to do something I always come and find a video that you have made. Thank you for all the helpful information qnd advice. I think when its time to launch my business it will be great. Thank you again.
I’m sooooo glad I found your channel!! I was watching other videos and was starting to get discouraged! You make this so easy to understand! Thank you!!!
Hello I recently found your channel. I want to thank you for the tips on blending fragrance oils. I am just starting out making melt n pour soap with fragrance oils. These tips are going to help me a lot.
This was very helpful and simple math. I have been thinking about experimenting with blending fragrances. I love your recommendation of using the 1oz sample to test the scent to not be wasteful incase you don't like the scent. Thank you again..
I learn so much math while watching your videos. I spent all these years out of school never needing math outside of the everyday money/budgeting etc... But the way my poor brain been calculating since deciding to create and make candles online 🤣
I swear you have ESP lol Everytime I get a question in my tiny brain you hand out a video dealing with it! Thank you for always having the best answers Paris your an amazing lady and I am enjoying your videos so much.
I have a question: How can you do a formula mixing fragrance oil with essential oils? I haven't seen any candle maker talking about it and i've been researching for months haha. I'll appreciate any response.
Hiiiii. Okay so I have questions lol. I'm looking into making wax melts but I have a bunch of essential oils that I bought (not knowing there was a thing called fragrance oil) but I really just want to know how long should the wax melts cure. I've been doing 24 hours but when going to break off a cube its soft also I am using American Soy Wax
Hello, I have tried making soy wax essential oil candles with and without blends many times. But I got a burn or ignition-like smell when I lit the candle rather than a fragrance that I blended. Even tired different essential oil brands... May I know what is causing that? That will be a huge help. Thank you.
Depends on what percentage of oil you're going to use.. For instance if you're using 10% of wax wt 100gm, that is 10ml, n blending two oils at 50-50% then 50% of 10 ml twice.. That is, 5ml of each oil. Hope this helps..
I want to make body oil in bulk(256 oz at a time) but I don’t know how much fragrance oil I should get? Should I get 8oz of each fragrance( I’m mixing 2 fragrances together) or 16 oz of each fragrance? The amount of body oil that I’m making at a time is 256 oz.
What’s up everyone...hope you had a good week!
Have you ever done any fragrance blending? If so, share some of your scent combinations! Let's chat!
hello i have bad luck with oil scent last weeks i buy from the flaming candle Peach and is not hot throw.
@@sarah_style1 Unfortunately you just don't know until you purchase :) I always buy 1oz sample to avoid spending too much money.

I have formula videos on my channel 👍🏽

Thank you for the great video, much appreciated but I thought this was blending for DIY perfumes not candles☹️ ... But still enjoyed video😊

Fantastic tutorial!! Simple and thorough. Thanks so much sweetie.
How do we know the notes if we blend them ourselves? Please help!
Great info
Gurl why you gotta have pretty handwriting? Not fair!
Hahahaha! You are funny :) Thank you!
When you blend your own fragrances, how would you know what notes are on top, middle, and base?
Thank you..
Hi! Wanted to know if the flashpoint would matter? Would all of the fragrances have to have the same flashpoint? Thank you!
No it's not of big concern. Most fragrances will be around 180 degrees or lower. Don't overly stress about it!
With starting out new to candle making would you recommend a newbe to create their scents first before deciding on wax type?
It doesn't really matter - both are important! Then you can begin to test :)
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo thank you so much!

Hello! not sure if I missed this part, but how much of the wax did you incorporate in your blend for your 1 oz container?. thank you!
I have a formula video here on my channel to help with that🙂
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo thanks!! I will check it out.

I am not sure...I do not use essential oils and haven't tested with them to understand how it burns. Thanks!
Can this method also work for perfume production
I am not familiar with perfumes :)
Ok ma...thank you so much
If I’m making a candle and the jar is 14 oz candle jar, and I’m combining two scents how much of each scent would I put into the candle ?!

Say for example you are using a 4oz of wax what amount of oil is needed ?
I have several formula videos on my channel
Ik this is a little random but how do you buy stuff wholesale from candlescience ?
Candle Science is already a wholesale supplier, so you just go to their site and purchase :)
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo yes I have figured it out now. I was just having a brain fart at the moment thank you!!!💓
Is it 1oz to 8oz jar?
Thanks
Is it possible to mix f.o and essential oil together.
Essential oils are tricky because the blend temp is different from fragrance oils. I would stick to blending fragrance oils
Can you use this same aspect to create burning scented oils
What do you mean by “burning scented oils”?
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo I want to make my own oils to burn with the candle that sits under the oil burner
@@guesswho9705 Okay yes I’m sure it will work. It’s simply just blended whatever oils you want
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo Thank You.. I think I'll try it, then work my way up to doing candles as well.. !!!
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo I'll have to purchase candles from your website

You can try a 16oz but you may have to do some math to see once you purchase to know your formula 👍🏽
