I am so glad I found your channel. It has been 30 yrs. since I have crocheted and I have to re-learn it all over again. You are an excellent teacher and you go slow when teaching and that makes all the difference in learning. Thank you so much!!🙂
Thank you so much! I love the way you teach. It was my dream to learn crochet. This is the first time I have found a teacher , I can connect with......thanks once again.
You are an amazing teacher! I'm an absolute beginner ive never touched a crochet hook before but i have a daughter with texture issues an I want to make a blanket for her so I'm trying to learn but i was wondering like if you hav a video on like how to change colours or maybe other things a beginner wouldnt know? Thank you so much! I love your videos.
I like to work a chain 1 at the edges, don't count it as a stitch, and then simply work into the first stitch! Some people prefer to make the first stitch a row of chains, so for a half double crochet they would chain 2 or 3 but this can make it hard to work into on the next row.
@@HappyBerryCrochet It's still confusing about getting the same number of stitches and how to do the 3rd row. Do we we have to do one stitch in the chain like dc and tc? It would be nice if you can make a video with 2nd and 3rd rows, please.
My first time actually understanding crochet! Thank you!!

Wonderful teacher!
When you work the half treble stitch, why is it in the 3rd chain along instead of the first chain along?
Now i know the different crochet thank u so much
Thx 🙏
Hear i can find discreption about counting ... a note for me 😊
Your tutorials are brilliant. Thank you! It's so confusing that US and UK terms are different 🤣
how do you turn half double crochet?
Just watched your wonderful lesson. Just wondering how many you chain on when turning to start the next row.
Having trouble finding the holes help!!
nice it is easy to learn thanks
Question. So is this the same yard you used in the first two videos. Am following to learn. But now am confused 🤦🏾♀️😂
Principle is the same whatever yarn you use ☺️👍
how to do half double chrochet in flower??
Sorry but I’m confused. This looks exactly the same as a DC so what makes it an 1/2 DC?
It's a half double crochet. She went through all 3 loops.
I don't under sand
It confuses me when the single crochet is used, I thought there was no single crochet in U terms.
This is in US terms.
This is so tight I can’t see how to hook through the chain
Just my experience; Your tension is most probably too tight. Try to keep your casting on row loose.
How to crochet alfghan
that should read UK terms!
So is there a half double stitch in UK terminology. I'm so confused 🤣
It's called a half treble in the UK
@@HappyBerryCrochet Thanks.
THE SECOND LOOP IS BEING A BISH
IT IS SOOOO HARD
Slow down please
You can change the speed of the video play back.. I personally can't slow down as this isn't live lol
Great teaching though I jus find it extremely slow just my opinion
your intro music is so jarring. thank you for the informative video though
The mute button may be your friend 😊
I am 8+🥵🥵
You talk as if we’re in kindergarten
Go to your room, that's rude! 😆
😲
The explanation is way too slow
It’s meant for absolute beginners myself it’s amazing
