    I got something similar off of Etsy. If you twist your hair while wrapping it through, you don't even need to curl your hair prior. 😊 So sorry Sleepy Tie isn't available in Europe. I feel like this one would hold more grip.

      im going to try twisting the hair next time. Thanks for that tip!

      We have it Europe. It’s just under different names. I bought one in Germany while visiting from Switzerland. Here it’s called Lockenzauber Scrunchie. 😊

    I think it works great but def for long hair....soooo simple and such volume!!

      Well… long hair…? MY hair is LONG. I can sit on it. I don’t think it would work for me…

    My main hesitancy with this product is that you can't' dictate the direction of the curl. It looks like all of the curls will go one way and I want the sections on either side of my face to both go outward

      @UptownWithEllyBrown  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That’s a really good point!

      I totally understand you. However I bought it and I will try it out and get back to you.

      The obvious answer here is the use two (or more if you like) so you can twist in opposite directions. I don’t have a sleepy tie, but I do something similar using 4 jumbo satin scrunchies (I use two scrunchies for each section of hair to give the wrap more bulk) and position them like space buns. It works well!

      @@xqueenfrostine that’s a genius idea ❤ where did you get large silk Scrunchies the ones I find are all about the same size and they hardly hold all my hair

      The easiest (sort of) way I’ve work around this is by splitting the ponytail in two. So once you pull all the hair on top of your head, rather than wrapping the whole pony in one direction, I just divide it in two, wrapping one section one way and the remaining section the opposite way. It’s not foolproof but most times it comes out looking way more symmetrical than if I’d done it was the directions say to. May be worth a try!

    I use this too & like it. Yours definitely looked better after! Awesome! Do you recall the size you have? I’m thinking I should have gotten the small instead of the medium.

    • @miiar
      @miiar 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What do you mean "lost its shape"? Is it stretched or something? If it's not, maybe you just have to move fabric. I saw a video about this on a sleepy tie's official channel (I can't attach the link in the comments).
      edited: search by title "how to adjust your sleepy tie", maybe it's your case.

    The damn thing does not work. It is a waste of money, because if you have non set hair your natural curls look so horribel, I mean as if you have bkt combed them for a month or so. And I do not want to set my hair everyday because this damages my hair so...
    Waste of money!!!

      Have you tried brushing them out and moistening them? Also I feel this isnt meant for curly hair or even preservation of artificially curled hair but to prevent frizz on wavy hair and create waves on straight hair.
