This lesson is further teaching me that I must not be wise in my own eyes but I must follow God’s leading, not passively but thoroughly. That is true wisdom! I pray for the wisdom to continue to follow God!🙏🏾
Results are not always evidence of God's approval. This ties in with the message of discernment from yesterday's lesson. May God help me to remain obedient to His word and not trust in my wisdom which is actually foolishness. God knows the destination, I will trust Him all the way!
Moses' story is one that truly humbles me whenever I hear it. May we always be conscious of the grace made available to keep in step with God every day of our lives. Furthermore more, I will not despise this grace and seek to do it on my own, no matter how justified or wise my approach looks.
It is indeed a hard lesson in obedience, one we all must remember in our walk with God. Thank God for the freedom we have in Christ to obey God with all of our hearts.
Help me to be truly wise Lord!
Help me not to abandon your leading Jesus!
