The understanding we must all have about God's instructions is that it doesn't work with our timeline. My response to God's word is to "move quickly". I pray for strength to always respond and move quickly.

Oh Lord! Heal my eyes that I may view my life through your lenses. That my limited perspective of my life not interrupt your will and desire. Help me look beyond the circumstances and focus on what you are doing per time. Thank you for this, sir.

Mehn! Yet another thought provoking lesson. I must, like Joseph, travel lightly so that my response to God’s instructions is prompt. Delayed obedience is same as outright disobedience, because the when is as important as the what and the how. Thank you for this lesson, Pastor.

Very profound thoughts, this knowledge is scattered throughout scriptures, God wants us to give ourselves first. Apost. Paul was sharing about this in 2 Cor 8 about how the churches in Macedonia amidst their poverty and many troubles gave very generously - verse 5 says ''They even did more than we had hoped, for their first action was to give themselves to the Lord and to us, just as God wanted them to do.'' Their first action was to give themselves to the Lord and then to the churches in need. This order is very important as you have emphasised sir! God bless you, Deacon.

Hmmm! Never seen that passage about the wise men in this light. Indeed, the Lord wants all of me. And He is not asking for something He hasn’t done. If I consider the sacrifice Christ made on the cross as great and I dare say, ultimate, shouldn’t I offer my all to the Lord? This blessed me greatly! Thank you, sir.

Lord, may I always have the right perspective of You. A clean hand, a pure heart, amen. Thank you, Deacon Gabriel.

Results are not always evidence of God's approval. This ties in with the message of discernment from yesterday's lesson. May God help me to remain obedient to His word and not trust in my wisdom which is actually foolishness. God knows the destination, I will trust Him all the way!

Moses' story is one that truly humbles me whenever I hear it. May we always be conscious of the grace made available to keep in step with God every day of our lives. Furthermore more, I will not despise this grace and seek to do it on my own, no matter how justified or wise my approach looks.

I choose to keep following the Lord-trusting that He’ll lead me.

This lesson is further teaching me that I must not be wise in my own eyes but I must follow God’s leading, not passively but thoroughly. That is true wisdom! I pray for the wisdom to continue to follow God!🙏🏾
