Thank you very much for this project. I was working on something similar and was fighting hard to get it go. Now I can stop, yours is actually better designed than my own I believe. Have not printed it yet, but I love it already. The turnaround is so much simpler than my design, great job. Thank you for not taking an arm and a leg for your design, lots of so-called designers publish BS and want a fortune for it.

Awesome work, thankyou. Suggestion. 1. A section to allow cars to cross railway tracks, by removing the rail from the plastic sleeper and insert directly into roadway. 2. A grove in the roadway to take Faller wire. 3. A right angle crossing with rail insert to allow trams to cross

Mind blowing project. Thank you so much inspring designers. we can use DC motor and power it with hand crank (maybe dynamo attached bcycle wheel). Also we can add more road lane for race the cars

Suggestion: create an alternate drive unit that can be mounted so that the motor is hidden below the surface on which the roadway rests.

Excellent project! You could change the motor to a simple DC motor and drive it with a battery / power supply with variable resistor for speed rather than stepper motor. Maybe there would be a way to make a smaller drive gear?

Do you think this could be scaled down to N-scale? Even just scale it by half to make it close enough? Wonder if the chain size would become too small to print?

Keep the chain and the runthrough the same size, scale the road down I would say
