Let's talk about the fact that all the Priest in Hindu temples are still from one community (Brahmin community)........And Sudras (lower caste people) are not allowed to be priest according to religious text....According to religious text only Brahmins can be Priest of Hindu temple....In fact Sudras (lower caste) were prohibited from reading religious text and entering into temples in the past....
You know what you are doing is now is shifting the goalpost. In case you don't know, Sudras are now trained as priest and performing poojas. If you are going by the religious text argument as being set in stone, do you want to expand the argument to all religion? The sponsor of the bill Senator Wahab's religion can be used for argument sake as well for using religious text says this and it's set in stone. Do you care to do extend the same argument for all religious text? Because this is for legal precedence and it can't be selective. If selective it will be discriminatory
Let’s find out how many Shudras apply for priest jobs in US! Does equality labs train non-Hindus in Hindu scriptures to qualify for Hindu priest jobs? Is that a new achievement they now claim?
Most Hindu Gurus are Shudra & nobody checks their caste when they flock to them for personal spiritual growth!
@@rba6706 I welcome more laws on religious organizations who do any kind of discrimination (including in their text)..... For example, I support repealing of all laws related to islamophobia...The scriptures of any religion can and should be questioned......No book is (should be) too holy that it cannot be questioned...
Please find out for yourself....BTW. there is no Hindu religion...There is no religious text that is about a religion called "Hindu." Hindu is a political identity given by the Indian courts.....Go read the text of your so called religion............
