Don't normally comment on these and I've been watching reactions for about 3 yrs now. Just turned 57 mid Jan. and love all genres of ROCK. This song takes me back about 15 yrs or so. My daughter , son, and nephew hadn't really got into good music yet (my music) so I convinced my wife to buy them ROCK BAND for Christmas. Oh, wait what's that chair right there? Speakers it has speakers in it and it plugs into ROCK BAND! HE'LL YEAH!! Long story short this song ended up being our first encore or whatever. Man I was the shit for awhile. Now I'm PAP. I'm a minority male living in NYC. I come from the hood. Was born and raised there. I was never into rap or hip hop. I always loved metal, rock and death metal. N.I.N and Mushroom head have been my favorite bands since a child. This type of music blasting in my headphones makes me feel powerful and motivated. I love it I love it. I just need to fight the urge to rip someone's head open when the best drops. ^_^
Time to play this, have a concert on top of the House in Washington. Time to literally clean the House and blow the roof off. I am no minority but was raised in a ghetto, and I learned its just people trying to live their lives in a situation that hardens the heart, being preyed on by gangs cops drug dealers.

Random boring story here, I just really want to say this, lol. So I changed schools when I came to live with my dad almost a year ago. I'd been in band since 5th grade. When I moved, I stayed in band, but this year I'm not because of how one of my credits transferred, so I had to drop it this year (which I'm mostly okay with anyway since my new school's band sucks and I don't like the teaching.😅). So when I was getting ready to move, I had this feeling that this year now that I'm gone, they were going to play songs I've always loved, and THEY SURE FREAKING DID, LOL Right before I moved we started learning a marching arrangement of this song (which at the time I hardly knew, but I'm starting to really like nin) for basketball games. This year, they played freaking Fall Out Boy and Coldplay songs for the marching season, two bands that were part of my childhood and development of my taste in music, lol. Gosh. So I was just looking through my old music, and found my sheet for this song, and now I miss it more than normal, lol. Tl;dr: my old school played this song for marching band, I'm not in band anymore, and I miss it all, lol.
The one of few things that I love about technology..the ability to find beautiful tunes in quarantine and the discovery of songs you haven't heard in a decade or more 😃❤it!
I met Trent many years ago at the MTV Music video awards after party in Bryant Park NYC. He was just hangjng out just like everyone else at the party. I walked up to him and asked him if he would take a picture with me. His answer was sure. But the way he said "sure" was comical. I thanked him and shooked his hand. 25 plus years later I still remember it. And love telling the story. No cells phones back then folks. I had Cannon Rebel G and a sure shot camera for back up.
This slid under my radar when it was released. Heard it on our local rock station in Dallas and it's quickly become a favorite of mine. Trent's voice and the synth are infectious.

A song like this just moves into your brain, elevates your heart rate, dilates your pupils... Or not and then you push thumbs down and run screaming down the hall and back in the basement.
Can't wait to ROCK WITH MY GRANDKIDS!
Thanks fortnite this songs a banger
This song just pumps me up it really helps my with my low self esteam and gets me up before football and working out
I'm a minority male living in NYC. ^_^
👏👏👏
@jacksfilms
......thats why you can listen to songs like this and...get it out ...of ur system
Time to play this, have a concert on top of the House in Washington. Time to literally clean the House and blow the roof off. I am no minority but was raised in a ghetto, and I learned its just people trying to live their lives in a situation that hardens the heart, being preyed on by gangs cops drug dealers.
That's why you listen to songs like that...... and Styles P "I get high" or except during a zombie apocalypse
Man that guitarist got out of there in a hurry right when the song was over. I like to think that right when they started this song, that breakfast burrito he had that morning started hitting him
I like the way you think lol
B
Funny!
My older nonblood brother listens to all my music videos; and he always cares. Thank you TH-cam for the existence of the "share" option button. The internet is amazing.
Some songs are well before their time, and this is one of them , genius writing and a real life lasting song that will have us going back to our younger year's.we should of appreciated what we should have when we was younger.......
That's music for you.....
Thats also , life's lesson.
in my honest opinion one of the greatest (and catchiest) NIN songs ever made
After all these years I’m still a huge Trent fan. His music, his production, his voice.
Twiggy's Bass playing is killer on this track 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸 Trent always had excellent musicians hand's down 💯🎸🎸🤘
Love this song!!! I have to be careful will I’m jamming out to it in my vehicle…. Makes me want to drive fast! Just so much energy in the music!
Oh, Mr Reznor, you're a fine wine my friend! You get better and better as the yrs go by....
I need to use wine to get bitches drunk
Jason Smith females dogs like wine? :-)
yeah that's my 6th time this week
Oh no...O_O
Even better LIVE seen em at Red Rocks!! EPIC!!!
Snape, I will miss you and your band.
Dude
+HWB This was about a decade before Snape came into the picture, or the book should I say!? It is definitely a different look, kind of mysterious and rebellious looking with a good creepy vibe to set it off!
+Vada Campbell A decade? This song is from 2005. The first Harry Potter book came out in 1997, and the movie in 2001. Unless you mean Trent's look in general.
JohnACorp782 That's your opinion. Deal with it, idiot boy.
Killed me.
This song always slaps! The very first concert I went to on my own was when they were touring this
One of my favorites
Reznor. Prince. Bowie. These stars all shine with the same brilliance.
Nine Inch Nails Lyrics
"The Hand That Feeds"
You're keeping in step
In the line
Got your chin held high and you feel just fine
Cause you do
What you're told
But inside your heart it is black and it's hollow and it's cold
Just how deep do you believe?
Will you bite the hand that feeds?
Will you chew until it bleeds?
Can you get up off your knees?
Are you brave enough to see?
Do you want to change it?
What if this whole crusade's
A charade
And behind it all there's a price to be paid
For the blood
On which we dine
Justified in the name of the holy and the divine
Just how deep do you believe?
Will you bite the hand that feeds?
Will you chew until it bleeds?
Can you get up off your knees?
Are you brave enough to see?
Do you want to change it?
So naive
I keep holding on to what I want to believe
I can see
But I keep holding on and on and on and on
[8X]
Will you bite the hand that feeds you?
Will you stay down on your knees?
That was pretty
Call me
I always thought it said "Be the one that'll change it" but I was wrong
Thank you lol
I’m ready to bite at this point 😌
Loving this band
Best synth break ❤
My first NIN song. ❤️
same. Was it on Midnightclub 3 ?
+Decx03 rock band
OldSchool same 😂
Corrina Powell this is far from old school. Look up Mr self destruct
Zach Michlow no no the guys name is OldSchool 😂😂
Trent is a genius in all that he does or did and or ever will do . With teeth is one of the best albums out there .
I love this song, the power it has.
love love this
Random boring story here, I just really want to say this, lol.
So when I was getting ready to move, I had this feeling that this year now that I'm gone, they were going to play songs I've always loved, and THEY SURE FREAKING DID, LOL
Right before I moved we started learning a marching arrangement of this song (which at the time I hardly knew, but I'm starting to really like nin) for basketball games.
Love this band
I wanna go skydiving with this song playing
2020 and still fuckin epic 💯
How have I only just found Nine Inch Nails? Have I been living under a rock for 25 years?
you need to play Quake then
Welcome to the NiN club lol
😢
Oh dear. Welcome!!!
There is sooooo much NIN to discover. Enjoy
So much to learn, so much to see and hear, welcome!
Ugh. Yum. The grungy, dirty, sophisticated, angst in his voice and in his music is so unsettling and sexy. Damn.
I will forever love this song!
Yes
Christ these guys were hell of ahead of their time.
It's just Trent
I’ve just played this album after 12 years since the last time I heard it and this song goes on repeat for 90min now and I can’t get enough
Que gran tema. Me encanto verlos y escucharlos en vivo en Chile 🇨🇱 espero verlos pronto de vuelta 🙏
This slid under my radar when it was released. Heard it on our local rock station in Dallas and it's quickly become a favorite of mine. Trent's voice and the synth are infectious.
About 17 years ago i was terribly addicted to oxys. I would listen to this whole album sometimes while driving to get more. Now i like to listen and think back on those dark days.
Im glad you left that in the past ♥
I'm happy that you're better
Congrats on getting clean! I hope that there's nothing but a great future for you in store. Same goes for Catherine. :)
So you like remembering your drug addict days? I guess they weren't that dark then.
@@someguy3522 No dumbass, i like to listen to this song now that I’ve been sober for years and it reminds me of how far I’ve come in getting and staying clean. No addict enjoys remembering their days of being an addict.
I got to see these guys in Toronto back in 2004 and it was awesome. Love this album. I would sing this song so much on Rock band.
This is such an amazing song. I really love this song. I Love you Nine Inch Nails ❤️❤️❤️
