Oh I just loved it as much as the first one!! I just saw it yesterday and like Natalee, I didn't expect so many tears to fall! I think that the new cast were amazing and brought an effervescence to the show that was needed without Meryl Streep being in it. That made me very sad. She's pretty much my favorite actress in the world!! While I have loved Pierce Brosnan since Remington Steele days, his singing is a bit flat. Overall, the younger versions were simply incredible and really played the parts of the friends very convincingly!! I don't care as much for story lines etc and some folks and that's fine- I'm there to be entertained and I was Very entertained!! I cried buckets at the end with Sophie and Donna singing to each other. I am crying just writing about it. I lost my Mom 13 years ago and she was my best friend so it just made me very sad. Otherwise it was so wonderful. I am so grateful that they made this sequel. Probably the only film in HISTORY where the Sequel is as good or even better than the original!! Thank you for making this wonderful film!! I can't wait to get it on DVD so I can see it over and over!!
I'd not seen the original when I went to see the sequel. I saw the original later: definitely preferred the sequel! The young cast is great and Lily James is a fantastic Donna. I, too, wasn't anticipating the tears and that part of the story, but in a way I think the film grabs you more because of that - because you saw young Donna's journey. Then the chapel scene at the end... Too obvious on what they did just to do "Fernando", but overall, really enjoyed it.
Lily James was absolutely amazing! She definitely looked at Meryl Streep's mannerisms as Donna and used them as well! It's a pity Meryl Streep only had so few scenes - but those she had I loved!
I loved the movie, I just didn’t expect it to be so sad! I intentionally avoided even trailers so I could be surprised, and I certainly was, but not how I had imagined I would be. I felt like I had to mourn Donna along with Sophie. The last scene was so beautifully done, and I was grateful to see Meryl Streep getting the screen time she deserves. Her presence was sorely missed, but the young cast was excellent, and brought some of the joy that Streep brought to the first film. I’m sure I’ll be seeing it again, and I’ll bring tissues next time
I totally agree I saw the movie yesterday but I feel like Donna being dead took some of the fun and excitement away from it. It brought me to tears when they showed Donna at the christening singing my love my life.
Honestly, I felt like it was such a tear jerker that I couldn’t even enjoy the movie because I was crying so much. It was so depressing that Sophie is unable to move past her grief. It’s like she’s living her entire life trying to fulfill her dead mom’s dreams, and is giving up on her own dreams/life/relationship. And that sob scene at the christening ceremony with her mom’s ghost was just awful and unnecessary. I wish they had entirely left out the Sophie story line and had just given us more of Donna’s backstory.
I just saw this today, and OMG! I’m obsessed. I’ve been listening to the soundtrack nonstop. This movie cemented my love for Lily James and Amanda Seyfried even more. Cher just radiated fierceness. When Rosie and Tanya say their true loves are carbs and wine, I literally thought, “that is such a mood, but same honestly.” 😂 “I’ve been Waiting for You” and “My Love, My Life” had me sobbing. Those have to be two of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard, and they show how much Sophie has grown as a character, as well as how much Donna did when she had Sophie. The end credits scene even had me crying, but happy tears, because *everyone* was singing; I couldn’t help but sing along. For my favorite song in the movie, it was hands down “I Kissed The Teacher.” Lily, Alexa and Jessica had such great energy, that they make you want to dance and not be in a bad mood.
I've had the Mamma Mia soundtrack on repeat since I saw the movie. Honestly Lily James embodies a young Meryl Streep PERFECTLY. And, as a musician with an alto voice, it makes me SO happy that there are so many beautiful alto songs in Here We Go Again.
Being able to see the stories of the characters past & present made the story even more meaningful & the every single actor played their roles perfectly; my favourite being Lily James, she captured Donna perfectly. Amazing film. Amazing Actors. Pure brilliance.
She didn’t want to do another film because of all the running around cause she was about 69 ( I know 😆) when they asked her, she still wanted to be in it but not as much
Cher singing Fernando to Andy Garcia! And her speaking lines too! Plus Super Trouper! Love it!!! But yes, definitely would have liked more Meryl too. :-)
Flicks And The City I knew as I soon as I saw Cher in the previews that the next installment would be interesting. I love ABBA and the first movie was so cute! Definitely one of my favorite musicals that came onto the big screen.
I went to watch it with my husband and my 9 years old daughter (an absolutely fan of ABBA already) We were singing and dancing on our seats. It was so fun!! I cried a lot as well with my love, my life and I've been waiting for you...as any mother would! I'll plan to see it many, many times. I can wait to buy the film and watch it 1000 times more, hahaha
I just saw the Mamma Mia 2 I felt a mixture of sad and happy emotions, but seeing Donna appear at the end and singing were one of the best scenes. I enjoyed all the songs and their lyrics. The landscapes, the actors and the music of Abba make a spectacular movie !!
I've been a huge fan of Lily James since War and Peace and to have her play the part of Donna is just phenomenal! And seeing Cher as Meryl Streep's mother is just too much. I can't wait to actually be able to sit down and watch this movie. The anticipation is just rising with everything I hear about it.
I adore that the score was basically the songs from the first film. Whenever one of the young dad's was introduced you can hear the songs they sang in the background. Same with when Tanya and Rosie show up, you hear an instrumental or Chickadeeta. I feel there was a good balance of the old and "new" music.
Mamma Mia 2 is such an undiscribable, incredible, nolstalgic, heartfelt movie....I JUST HAVE NO WORDS FOR THIS MASTERPIECE!I think this is the best movie sequel I’ve ever seen❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Introduce me to an aunt Sophie and give me a horse to care for because I’m all for the living in a remote Greek island-building my own hotel-finding and losing love thing 😂
Just finished watching the movie an hour ago and definitely will watch it 10x or more like the first one. The first one was my all time favorite live action musical and now I guess this sequel is my new fave. Was overwhelmed seeing all the original casts were back together plus who doesn't love Cher. She's an epic. She stole the whole movie in a good way anyway and her version of Fernando was phenomenal. That was the highlight of the movie. I'm crossing my fingers for the third installment hopefully it will not take another 10 years though.
Am definitely gonna be watching it a bunch more times too, Mark! Love the first movie as well - really puts a big smile on my face when I watch it. :-D Cher's Fernando was just fantastic and some of thoselines she had with Sophie and the rest of the cast were hilarious! And yes, they better hurry up if they do want to do another one! :-)
I have watched Here We Go Again twice, and each time I thought I saw Gene Wilder, who died in 2016, in the Young Harry Waterloo Dance. Am I losing my mind? Has anyone else noticed Gene Wilder in this movie?
One of the many reasons why I enjoyed the part 2 immensely is because I was not familiar with some of the not so popular ABBA songs they sang in the movie and I loved all of them. I am now obsessed with 'Why did it have to be me", "Andante, Andante", "Angel Eyes', "My love my Life" and " I've been waiting for you". I can't wait for the bluray to come out. BTW, I cried during the pregnancy scene. And young Bill is hot AF.
I loved the sequel, just watched it last night! My favorite scene was when the boats were arriving on the island and everybody was singing and dancing + the ending song was incredible (I cried a bit) 😂
It took a little getting used to the flips between young Donna and Sophie, but they were done so cleverly - it was amazing! I only discovered what a voice Amanda has in the original, and now Lily??? Wow! We definitely need a third movie - please don’t make us wait another ten years for it though!
I saw the original movie with my mother in theaters and its held a special place in my heart since then. So when I heard a Here We Go Again was coming out I freaked out and bought my tickets as soon as I could. I loved all the new takes on the popular songs from the original, and that they used the melodys from some of the songs that didn’t get a new cover in this one. The nostalgia was real during those parts. Overall, I know I will be seeing this movie many more times in theater and buying it as soon as it comes out. Loved the new additions to the cast, but still got to see the original cast too!
I’m not largely a fan of sequels but as a fan of mamma mia this film was a much see and I actually really enjoyed it. It’s been 4 days and I still have ‘when I kissed the teacher’ stuck in my head! Would really recommend it
I just saw it but it was hard to watch in places. I was very close to my Mom and I could relate and feel the pain of the characters from Donna's passing. I loved the movie but I really wish they had done it different with Donna being alive and sharing the hotel opening and baby with her daughter. I would have loved to see her living happily with Sam.
Yeeess, I know! I thought exactly the same thing !Why kill her off? After all that time she was finally happy with Sam. Sorry about your mum. I feel the same about my dad. xx
I can relate to the same Crystal. I cried so much on certain scenes with Donna, especially in the songs "I was waiting for you" and "My love, my life". My mother was a woman full of life like Donna.. She sang... practically everyday! As a child she used to sing "Chiquitita" to me. This movie is so personal for me. I dearly enjoyed it.
I just watched it yesterday, and MY GOD. It was a great film, even when there were some details that differed from the first film. I cried towards the end because it somewhat went full circle with My Love, My Life. It was just an amazing film, loved watching it with my fam. ❤️
I loved how much element there was to the film and although not a big abba hit one of my fav songs was when I kissed the teacher ! Lily and the rest of the cast were so so fab
Loved it! My 83 year old Mom and I LOVE ALL THINGS ABBA! THE SCENE with Sophie and Donna had my Mom, my daughter, my sis in law. And my daughter, BAWLING... SO VERY TOUCHING... GREAT JOB!!
I just saw Mamma Mia 2 today and I LOVED it!!! Do you want to know what the FUNNIEST ever part of the movie for me was? The scene with the younger dynamos on the horse with Rosie riding backwards and leading the donkey with all their luggage!! I just about split my gut laughing so hard over that one!!!! LOL
Watched the movie with my mother, I think I loved the storyline even more than the first one, although I wasn't familiar with some songs. The cinamatography (spelling?) was wonderful as well, we were really impressed with the colourful scenes. It's been five days now, and I still have the music stuck in my head, so I gave in and I went to youtube to find them!
Couldn't help but cry during the movie, the first movie has always been my favorite movie of all time, and then getting to see a second one? Just amazing
I loved the first one and I simply adored the second one! OMG! This movie made me laugh, made me cry and just made me feel good. I give it a big thumbs up!
I loved the Movie, but I watched the first Movie with my mum 10 years ago, I was 10 years old by then and fell in love with it, and with Donna aka Meryl Streep. Just because of that reason, I prefer the origional one. If this would have contained more Meryl, this would definitely be my favourite.
I am so excited I am crying!!! Don't worry You did not spoil anything for me but instead you told me that there is a post-credit scene I did not know of, thank you
I totally loved young Bill, he was by far the most handsome of the three men when they were younger. The sequel was great fun and captured the fun and frivolity of the first whilst adding a but more to the story
I’ve been waiting forever to see this movie! And when I found out that Lily James was in it, who I feel in love with after seeing her in baby driver, I was ecstatic!! I’ve already seen the movie once but I’ve already bought another ticket to go and see it again! Hopefully I won’t cry 3 times again 😂
I saw the film yesterday as well. I thought it was unreal out of this world fantastic abbatastic. I also really enjoyed this video as well it was really good
It was 10 years for us to get mamma mia 2 but for the charters its only been 5 years that time has passed since the first film. I wish they kept donna alive and did the movie another way i just feel like Donna got rough end of the stick like she goes 20 years without sam then finally gets the man and dies 4 years later like man that sucks but besides that i loved the movie and will watch it over and over again. ps the song with sofia and Donna made my 11 year old daughter cry shes so sad Donna died
I simply loooved this film. Of course, I missed some characters from the old one, like Sophie's, but it was pretty good. It made me laugh and even cry a little bit, but it also gave me so much energy and good vibes when I watched it.
*HELLO! Ok, so I actually got tickets to see this movie for FREE by my boyfriends grandparents... not only that but it was a PRE SCREENING of it!!! I legit even JUST texted my boyfriend about how I’m not sure if it’s just the time in my life when I watched it or what... but I connect to it so deeply and word for word I said next “it makes me so happily sad”. I took my mom to see it with me and I’ll even be honest, my relationship with her was rocky and we were kind of almost fighting while driving in the car to see it.. and so certain parts I was watching made me cry.. and I felt I was the only one crying at specific parts because I felt I was just depressed in those moments and wished I had the relationships like in the movie with my mom. Even after the movie I saw a daughter show her mom something on her phone and say “oh my gosh so and so died her hair!” And her mom goes “oh WOW that looks BEAUTIFUL” in such an angelic tone. And even THAT made me cry cause sure after the movie with all those “feels” my mom was a bit nicer to me after. But overall I was sad and connected with the movie SO HARD. And I just adore the two sequels. I legit AAAADDOOOREEE Lily James, I believe she is like THE prettiest woman in my eyes. She could wear no makeup and I’d be obsessed. Gosh this turned out to be probably not what you were expecting to read.... but is the truth... and I adore these two movies. I actually hate that I almost idolize MATERIAL objects and Lilly’s character made me just wanna throw everything away and just travel.... so I’d legit just ADORE having that beach towel and the whole kit!!! Thanks so much!!!*
What a great movie sequel! Watched it today! Lovely portrayal of all the characters specially Amanda (Sofie) and Lily (young Donna) ! Can't help myself but became teary eyed towards the ending My Love, My Life scene part. Congratulations Mamma Mia 2 team! You are all awesome! :)
Maria Clara Archeta I have yet to see this movie and I haven’t been able to resist the spoilers, so I, too, cried when Donna sang My Love, My Life with Sophie and then presumably her spirit went into the light
snoopy585 that is so true and i watched it with my daughter. I am going to watch it again tomorrow this time with a friend. Watch it and enjoy the good music, laughter and tears! :)
I had no idea about the post credit scene. I liked the sequel but it felt like a cliffnotes of what was missing in the first movie. If there's a 3rd, I would love to see more of Donna in the past with the Dynamos and Donna raising Sophie and maybe find out WHO THE FATHER IS.
Emily Matthews, do you mean that scene in the 1st movie when Bill asks Sophie probing questions about how old she is, how she got her name, and the inheritance his aunt left to a family member? The 2nd movie didn't really clarify that point.
No, I mean that that person who created the original West End musical has stated that Sophie's biological father is Bill. I don't think anyone in the film actually knows, but that's who it is.
It was good but nothing like the first one for me. Can't see myself watching this three times on the same day as I did with the original once when I was younger (yes this seriously did happen)
I loved the movie! I really hope they come out with a sing-a-long version in theaters like they did with the first one! A theater attendant actually told me I was singing too loud! I personally think ABBA can never be sung too loud. :)
Damn I have laughed and cried , it is sooo beautiful! Oef , I think it is beautiful, miss Donna of course, but I think they let her go on such a good way! My favorite song is I have a dream, but I think that that’s just personal, so everything was sooo good! ♡
Julia Animaties I really liked it too but I can't really handle Donnas passing. They never even explained what happened and although there were some pretty funny moments, that scene in the church was just so incredibly sad that I only felt like crying after seeing the movie. I just wish they hadn't killed her off it wasn't necessery.
Minna :3 I understand, my mother felt the same way, I cried at that moment but how weird as it is , I felt ok with her passing away because of how they filmed it... I do want to know what happend and why, but maybe that is something for a part 3? 😉 I’m just glad they listened to Meryl her feelings about a part 2 . I guess this too is a reason why I’m ok with it ❤️
Julia Animaties, It certainly was very sad to loose Meryl Streep's Donna in MM2. Gummy Kat is right about Streep not doing sequels. If you're interested in more of the reasons behind the decision to bring the journey of Streep's Donna to an end that way, I talk about them in my video here ► th-cam.com/video/tI6rLqmQz-Y/w-d-xo.html
I thought this movie was just beautiful, a great sequel to the first and it was a rollercoaster of emotions but that's what made the movie so brilliant. I admire that they really went deeper into the other characters stories and we were gifted with another amazing soundtrack of Abba's hits . This movie really hit the mark and I couldn't be more happier! Mamma Mia was always a favorite movie of mine and now so is the sequel !!
It's just as great as the first one, I was slightly worried about it but after seeing it I fell in love just like I did 10 years ago. Wonderful cast, wonderful soundtrack choice....I'll definately watch it again!
It got from laughter to crying, but it was better than the first movie, best part was when Super Trouper came on, when both the 'regular' characters were joined by their 'young' counterparts
Very nice! I was expecting to see more of Meryl Streep! Anyway, i just loved the movie as much as the original one! Definetly i will see it again at least 2-3 times!
I love the sequel!!! It had me laughing and crying and I totally wanted to jump up and dance with them during Super Trooper!!! Now I have to go back cause we didn’t stay for the last end credits scene ☹️
At least you know it's there now and what happened in it! Fab to know you had such fun with the sequel. And who doesn't love a bit of dance around to Super Trouper! :-)
❤️❤️❤️ In love with mamma Mia 2 . I've been cheated by you since I don't know when So I made up my mind, it must come to an end Look at me now, will I ever learn? I don't know how, but I suddenly Lose control There's a fire within my soul...
My mother sadly passed away on the 1st August and she absolutely LOVED the first Mamma Mia! film. We went to see it 10 years ago at local amphitheatre, And my best friend took me the very day of my Mother's passing to see the Mamma Mia! sequel which brought somne bittersweet memories especially at the end of the film. But i do think that my Mother would love it as well as I have,
I honestly loved them both!!! I have seen The sequel three times now!!!! Absolutely love singing all the songs in the theater every time with my best friend!!!! We are obsessed!!!
I loved Mama Mia Here We Go Again even more than the first - if that's even possible! I saw it with my kids and we all had such an amazing time singing, dancing and even crying together! The Mom and daughter who sat next to us said she was so glad they sat by us because we made it so much fun! Thank you for the review - you pointed out some things we didn't know which have made for some fun trivia facts to share with everyone!
I was 20 years old on 1979 so seeing Mama Mia 2 brought back memories of my carefree youthful days. I loved the first Mama Mia's energy and story while enjoying the nostalgic tempo and parallels to the daughter's life line. I am not a weepy person but found myself teary eyed a couple of times in the second one. Now, question is...Mama Mia 3?
Just saw Mamma Mia 2 and i loved it!! I especially loved hearing several Abba songs I hadn't heard before. And I loved, loved, loved Cher as the grandmother!! Great show!!
My daughter took me to see it last night. I enjoyed it greatly... I also cried. It was a bit different than I had expected but enjoyable... I sang... I cried... almost every emotion
I didnt notice a lot of this stuff omg. That makes it so much better for me. I also loved how young Donna sang a lot of the same songs as Sophie. I felt like it connected them more.
I did watch Mamma Mia 2 a couple of days ago. It was amazing! I can say that it was better than the first. I can only find two drawbacks: 1 That it was not shot in Greece like the first one and 2 Donna's death. It was so unfortunate! But, besides these, it was absolutely extraordinary!!!
Jessica Keenan Wynn was magnificent is channeling the Great Christine Baranski! And Hugh Skinner blew my mind as the younger Colin Firth! The singing and dancing had me wanting to get out of my seat to dance and sing throughout the entire movie! Can’t say enough about it! We’ve come a long way since my earliest days listening to ABBA on an 8-Track- Tape! ❤️❤️
I loved the movie I wasn't expecting it to be sad but overall it was an amazing movie. it is amazing how they combined to new actresses in the new movie. I will definitely watch it again .
I loved mamma Mia two It inspired me to travel the world and I really want to see it again!i listen to all the songs on repeat and they r stuck in my head and I can’t get enough!
The best line of the film was the Spanish line Cher spoke to Andy Garcia after he said "she turned my frown upside down" - I was the only person in the theatre who understood it and just about died laughing.
I’m pretty sure I’ve watched every single one of your videos and I just love them all and I love the new Mamma Mia. I have seen it 4 times at this point and I most likely will be seeing it a 5th time this week!
I subscribe and pressed the bell. I have been waited for 3 month for mamma Mia 2 to come out. Mamma Mia is my life. I saw it in the theatre, and I love it
I watched it last night with my 6 yr old daughter who has now become obsessed with Abba, just as I was at her age so all the songs were familiar to me! We both loved the movie but both felt disappointed that we don't know what happened to Donna. It is very strange that wasn't mentioned. I think my favorite song was "why did it have to me me", I also love "my love my life", actually I loved them all, great movie, great energy (also some tears shed)!!

LOVED that line! :-)
Best line ever

yeah i did not bring any tissues the first time and i regret it...

I've had the Mamma Mia soundtrack on repeat since I saw the movie. Honestly Lily James embodies a young Meryl Streep PERFECTLY. And, as a musician with an alto voice, it makes me SO happy that there are so many beautiful alto songs in Here We Go Again.
Lily James stole my heart as a young Donna. She's such a free, fun, loving character whether she's played by Lily or by Meryl.
Being able to see the stories of the characters past & present made the story even more meaningful & the every single actor played their roles perfectly; my favourite being Lily James, she captured Donna perfectly. Amazing film. Amazing Actors. Pure brilliance.
I remain unconvinced that the young bill is not actually a skarsgard. I mean come on! Lmao
I enjoyed the sequel. But I wish there was more Meryl Streep!
She is to expensive
Me too Meryl is amazing
She didn’t want to do another film because of all the running around cause she was about 69 ( I know 😆) when they asked her, she still wanted to be in it but not as much
@@LThomp also she promised herself to never do sequels, but she made this a small exception
Cher stole the show for me, but I agree Meryl Streep should have been in it a bit more. Donna is my absolute favorite character

Very true, Shauna! Love watching the first one especially as have a huge smile on my face throughout! :-)
Found her performance far to wooden and bitoxed
I miss Meryl! 🙁
Waited 10 years for this sequel. I LOVED EVERYTHING IN THE MOVIE!!
I was absolutely grateful of making this sequel. It was full of happiness and joy all the time!
Stayed through all the credits just to dance along, and that post credits scene was just the cherry on top!!!
I loved the “When I kissed the teacher” part 😍

I love this movie so much. I honestly hadn’t seen the first one until recently but I can say I’m absolutely living for the story and cast.
Loved both movies. I don't care about the inconsistencies between the two.
Love, love love that Nobody really cared about any inconsistencies because it's not about the details, it's about the spirit of the movie!
I can totally appreciate how tough that must have been to watch, Crystal. Would definitely have liked Donna to still be alive in this one too.
Yeah it's been 7 years this November and I still miss my Mom so much.
Yeeess, I know! I thought exactly the same thing !Why kill her off? After all that time she was finally happy with Sam. Sorry about your mum. I feel the same about my dad. xx
Claudia Benitez Delgado well Meryl Streep didn't want to be too involved in the project that's why they had to write her character off🤷🏻♀️
I can relate to the same Crystal.
Glad you enjoyed sharing the movie with your fam, Charm! :-)
I loved how much element there was to the film and although not a big abba hit one of my fav songs was when I kissed the teacher ! Lily and the rest of the cast were so so fab
Waterloo was by far my favorite in the second film! Classic
Loved it! My 83 year old Mom and I LOVE ALL THINGS ABBA! THE SCENE with Sophie and Donna had my Mom, my daughter, my sis in law. And my daughter, BAWLING... SO VERY TOUCHING... GREAT JOB!!
Mamma Mia 2 can stand tall and proud on it's own, which is saying something for most sequels today.
I took my granddaughter to see mamma Mia 2. This evening and we both loved it my granddaughter we mesmerised
Oh, lovely to hear you had such a fabulous family outing, Linda! :-)
Couldn't help but cry during the movie, the first movie has always been my favorite movie of all time, and then getting to see a second one? Just amazing
I loved the first one and I simply adored the second one! OMG! This movie made me laugh, made me cry and just made me feel good. I give it a big thumbs up!
I don't think I ever cried so hard in a movie besides Bridges of Madison County! And Meryl's tiny scene stole the whole movie!!
Mamma Mia 2 it’s just amazing, I watched it 3 times already and I can’t get the songs out of my head!
Don't worry You did not spoil anything for me but instead you told me that there is a post-credit scene I did not know of, thank you
My pleasure :-)
I totally loved young Bill, he was by far the most handsome of the three men when they were younger. The sequel was great fun and captured the fun and frivolity of the first whilst adding a but more to the story
Angela Walton did you see harry??
I don’t know about you guys,
But I thought Sam.
@@daisyslife5332 Me too Daisy. Sam.
I wish they kept donna alive and did the movie another way i just feel like Donna got rough end of the stick like she goes 20 years without sam then finally gets the man and dies 4 years later like man that sucks but besides that i loved the movie and will watch it over and over again. ps the song with sofia and Donna made my 11 year old daughter cry shes so sad Donna died
they had to kill her off though because meryl didn't want to be that involved because she doesn't like to do sequels
@@dupaincheng So she probably wont be in the 3rd film then. And yes a third film is in the works and will feature new abba songs
@@markgowans there isn’t a 3rd film
@@daisyslife5332 A 3rd film has been talked about but isn't in production yet
@@markgowans No it hasn’t. If it was to be talked about, it would be all over the internet.
😘
It's Bill, the creator of the musical revealed it. I think the point is that it doesn't really matter to any of them in the end :)
The point of the film is that all the fathers are there for Sophie
Emily Matthews, do you mean that scene in the 1st movie when Bill asks Sophie probing questions about how old she is, how she got her name, and the inheritance his aunt left to a family member? The 2nd movie didn't really clarify that point.
No, I mean that that person who created the original West End musical has stated that Sophie's biological father is Bill. I don't think anyone in the film actually knows, but that's who it is.
It’s not a fucking mystery movie
It was good but nothing like the first one for me. Can't see myself watching this three times on the same day as I did with the original once when I was younger (yes this seriously did happen)
Can totally understand watching the first movie over and over, SG! :-)
Gummy Kat yes indeed , I’m very glad that they listened to her ♡ 🙈
I found Mamma Mia 2 very sentimental. I cried many, many times. Still loved it but was surprised by how sad & sentimental it was. :)
That was a lot of fun, Claus! :-)
I have not watched Mama Mia 2 yet but the way that you present how different Mama Mia is to Mama Mia 2 I just can't wait .
❤️❤️❤️ In love with mamma Mia 2 . I've been cheated by you since I don't know when
So I made up my mind, it must come to an end
Look at me now, will I ever learn?
I don't know how, but I suddenly
Lose control
There's a fire within my soul...
I personally love both of the films! My cinema went absolutely mental when Cher said ‘Fernando’ 😂 😂
Really enjoyed it! Where can I magically encounter good looking men on my travels, eh?
I saw the film yesterday and I loved getting to see how they all met!
I watched it yesterday and I fell in love!!!! I’m going to see it two more times within the next week!!
Loved the film, definitely will be watching again soon. 😁
Great to hear, Gabrielle! :-)
I just saw this with my daughter this weekend. I LOVE this movie!!!!
the ending broke
meryl streep's Donna is my favourite character and i didn't expect her at the end so i cried, a lot
I’m obsessed with both movies!!!! I really loved lily James as young Donna and all the new and original cast as well
I was 20 years old on 1979 so seeing Mama Mia 2 brought back memories of my carefree youthful days.
Saw it twice. Love the movie. Wish Meryl would have been it more. I wasn’t expecting her character to have died. It really caught me off guard
My daughter took me to see it last night. I enjoyed it greatly... I also cried. It was a bit different than I had expected but enjoyable... I sang... I cried... almost every emotion
Who all noticed that at 0:43 when talking about Jeremy Irvine the subtitles say "young salmon"
Totally loved the movie. It was funny sad and loving but I wish there was more Meryl Streep
Im not going to lie. I actually cried when Donna appeared.
I didnt notice a lot of this stuff omg. That makes it so much better for me. I also loved how young Donna sang a lot of the same songs as Sophie. I felt like it connected them more.
I really liked the way you presented this video and all the info in it.
I loved the sequel. Would have loved to see more Meryl Streep but the movie was a lot of fun. Loved Lily James! 👍👍
I did watch Mamma Mia 2 a couple of days ago. It was amazing! I can say that it was better than the first. I can only find two drawbacks: 1 That it was not shot in Greece like the first one and 2 Donna's death. It was so unfortunate! But, besides these, it was absolutely extraordinary!!!
went three days ago, one of the best movies i ever saw ! it channels positive energy and it's just simply amazing.
I love mama mia and whenever my grandpa would babysit me I would watch it on replay when I was 4 😂
I saw this today and ve already planned to see it again tomorrow 😂
Jessica Keenan Wynn was magnificent is channeling the Great Christine Baranski! And Hugh Skinner blew my mind as the younger Colin Firth! The singing and dancing had me wanting to get out of my seat to dance and sing throughout the entire movie! Can’t say enough about it! We’ve come a long way since my earliest days listening to ABBA on an 8-Track- Tape! ❤️❤️
I saw mamma mia 2 2 days ago and it was fantastic. I want to go back for a second time
I've been waiting so long for this!!
I loved the movie I wasn't expecting it to be sad but overall it was an amazing movie. it is amazing how they combined to new actresses in the new movie. I will definitely watch it again .
I loved mamma Mia two
It inspired me to travel the world and I really want to see it again!i listen to all the songs on repeat and they r stuck in my head and I can’t get enough!
