I'm so glad i found this song video today..tomorrow is the first anniversary of my sister's passing away, unexpectedly out the blue..I'm absolutely sure she would've loved listening to this.. after all this time i recently faced looking through things, and found her collection of records..we both loved the 80s, incredible music times..loved Alison Moyet, so this is an absolutely wonderful heart touching song..i imagined my sister and i sitting in an empty cinema watching all her favourite movies..xx the time of our lives sis xx Thank you so much for this song.
I’m surprised that this song was not originally released as a single. Beautiful melody, lyrics and, of course, Alison’s unmistakable soaring angelic vocals. This version takes it to new heights.
This is a stunningly beautiful version of "Filigree" and I love the visuals as well that perfectly match Alison's astounding vocals. This totally changes the emotinal feeling of this song and also highlights the poetic leaning of her song writing. This new album is going to be something very special.I got goosebumps on first hearing this, just sublime. (Matt)
Loved the original version, this feels so personal and stripped back plus her voice is showing its age which adds another beautiful layer this this song. It's very touching, delicate and raw. It's like a glimpse into a soul lived.

You are an amazing artist!!!! love and respect from Argentina
Me encanta tu voz y sensibilidad, simplemente necesitaba escuchar tu música en este momento tan complicado de mi vida, gracias por todo lo que nos das.
Just beautiful... Alison's work since _Hometime_ has really impressed me as she becomes a more profound and poetic songwriter. She just keeps getting better with age!
Not long to go for the new album, I loved the tempo of the original, it just led to the lyrics meaning of the song. Yes this is good but better would’ve been new material 😢
It's vocals and production like this, that Alison had in mind for the 'Essex' album. Either way, the Ian Broudie touch on that album was superb anyway. Filigree remains a favourite amongst others, on 'the minutes' album. This version sounds so poignant and engrossing.
It's a nice version stripped back but also kind of pointless. They're was nothing wrong with this masterpiece originally. The original is an absolute favourite of mine so this disappointes me sorely. For me the song has lost it's edge a continuing theme on this rather troubling Key journey....
Emperors New Clothes….. It’s a dirge. No likey. The original ’The Minutes’ version is far, far superior. Don’t like the video. Don’t like this version of the song. I really struggled to watch to the end of the video. Wouldn’t be something I’d watch or listen to again. Sorry Alison. Love you but this is really rather boring.

Now I’ve heard this a few times and it’s sunk in: it may be the most beautiful thing she’s ever done
OH FOR GOODNESS SAKE! You've gone and created the the best lyric video I have ever seen. Beautiful, creative, sensual, sensitive... perfect!

Simply beautiful.
This lovely woman astounds me ❤
A favorite from The Minutes. This is a lovely take on the song and a fantastic lyric video !
I agree this is a stand out track on "The Minutes",so glad Alison decided to recompose this song with this stunning new version (Matt)
simply beautiful
Superbly crafted and exceptionally executed.
Sublime revisitation, thanks Alison for giving me wonderful emotions every time
I absolutely love the version. Your vocals sounds dynamic. The piano is so haunting. Such a brilliance piece of work ❤❤
Excellent.
As I listened I thought of this playing at a funeral, saying goodbye…

Love this song, was an honour to meet you backstage at one of your shows.

I just can’t get into this acoustic odd arrangement of such a great song from the minutes album.
💗
Glad to hear you again!
I grow up with Yazoo!!!
And with Love resurrection..❤
I have to say I enjoy the original better, but I've liked all the other key versions of the songs I've heard
We have come a long way. Soon we will be gone too.

I wish she would say what the movie was…..
It was an arthouse film called “The Tree of Life” (with Brad Pitt). She mentioned it once in an interview.
It's a nice version stripped back but also kind of pointless. They're was nothing wrong with this masterpiece originally. The original is an absolute favourite of mine so this disappointes me sorely. For me the song has lost it's edge a continuing theme on this rather troubling Key journey....

Thank goodness, I thought it was only me that did not like this. It's awful and I'm sorry but does nothing for her voice.
