Anyone that lives in the UK and doesn’t see it as a privilege is just an ignorant person who has never travelled. I was born in this country but my parents immigrated from south east Asia. I love my parents country of origin but having visited it ever since I was young i can see how poor it is, and how little opportunity I would’ve had had I been born there. What I make in 1 month in the UK would take me 6 months over there. The UK has a robust judicial system and politicians are largely not corrupt tyrants, unlike most leaders around the world. The streets are mostly clean, the infrastructure is good, there’s law and order. So it’s a privilege to be here and anyone that doesn’t understand that is an idiot and needs to go to other countries to realise that.
