Just finished recording footage, and started script for a wild game called Warlander a MOBA from the makers of Happy Wars, after that, it's a surprise, but it's gonna be another double episode about 2 more Paragon-Clones. 😉
Dude I miss awesomenauts. Impossible to play it for years now due to no players tho.
Fell is love with it after my 10 matches. We gotta get everyone to play on March 16th. The community is more active than most MOBAs.

Brings back so many memories. Whenever i hear those character soundtracks nostalgia ran down my spine (if that's even a thing).
The great great grandfather of this game was silencer over 20 years ago .
I really hope someday we get access to the newer nauts again.

I have no clue who any of those are. I wish I could of tried them. Hopefully game is revived, it's too liked to not be.

This was my favorite game, but it took the TF2 route by stop updating completly (even at almost the same time). And now that it is gone, it has left a void in my heart that i can only try to fill with league of legends and fortnite.
Awesomenauts will always be my favorite game I first started playing January in 2017 and I have over 6000 hours in the game I hadn’t played since 2020 I used to play on a home computer but it broke and I never got a PC. I wish I could go back to those days definitely the best times of playing video games my entire life
It really is a great game. Let's hope it's revived one year.
My most played game on Steam. Played it from the start, and boy did the game changed a lot over time. The more "MOBA-y" it got, the worse I got at it, until I couldn't play it well to save my LIFE. hahaha. Sad to hear about the bankruptcy.
Seems like a good hero brawler, too bad it got worse as it was more MOBA.
@@trollgasm I think about it quite often. Like it wasn't just the game leaning towards more MOBA-style balancing but the general player "evolution." Playing more in teams, over-extending less, and being more "meta-aware." These are not bad things, of course, but it made it harder to just get into a random match, and be able to cause some mayhem without having to rely as much on your team.

@trollgasm yeah they were premium skins. I cant remember how many there were in the beta version because i never downgraded and there are too many of my favorite nauts that i would miss playing if i did. But there were a few in the latest version that doesnt work and they were sweet.
I had a Voltar disco skin that I enjoyed back in the day that will play a cute little disco tune whenever I use his healbot ability. The song would play whenever the healbot was summoned and remained on the field.
However, Romino reworked Voltar later on, with one major change to the healbot that made it a healing burst rather than an AOE field.
Now when I use the healbot, the song plays and gets interrupted half a second later because the healbot doesn't stick around that long now. They took away the reason I paid for the Voltar skin.
Good video. I've played this game since it's humble beginnings and regarding expansions I personally felt like they had decently good reception, simply because they were kickstarters that needed to be backed so Ronimo as a studio could survive and the game could continue to grow, get better and get new features.The base game used to cost money as well (not freemium as it turned into later), so the structure of a paid base game + 2 expansions was pretty neat and personally I prefered it over a "free" game with tons of microtransactions. I wish they would have tried to do another kickstarter for Awesomenauts instead of wasting time on their other, not so succesful games. Maybe they wouldn't have had to file bankrupcy.
Originally the game did not have a leveling thing, everything was just flat dmg which made it easy to understand. I feel like the leveling system was a giant mistake and like you said it wasn’t explained very well to new players. Overall though if you can see how that Voltar was taunt spamming you like that imagine that almost every other game, the community was extremely toxic even as the community was dying (even dead now people are still toxic to each other) I grinded the game for a while and even finished one Season in the top league. I miss playing it but yea toxic community and incompetent devs kinda killed the game IMO. I’m not even trying to be mean to Ronimo here but they just made a lot of bad game design choices several times over in the name of keeping the game “fun” while everyone was playing the game ultra competitively.
I hope there is a second video if Atari makes any big changes. Happy I could get you your first win!
I hope Atari revives the game, Awesomenauts easily has the nicest online community out of any MOBA, they put most of them to shame.
LoL, DOTA, Smite, none of them hold a candle to the incredibly wholesome Awesomenauts community.
Even the Fanart competitions were incredibly nice, people getting the fanart they submitted to be shown during the loading screen instead of another microtransaction item that makes the screen not bland.
I miss Awesomenauts. Rocco is still my goat✊
It is very good and fun. Far from worst.
