Some good games named there boys. All worthy of attention. There are a few on the wish list. Ark Nova and Cascadia. I think the only animal themed game I own is Apiary. Been gaming less than a year so the collection is small. Thanks for a fun watch boys.
@@dadsanddice Apiary is a wonderful worker placement, tile and set collection. This game has it all. Dice, tiles and cards. Lots of different player boards for variability and replay ability. The flow and mechanics of the game is great. Mid to heavy weight depending on player count. The Solo mode is really streamline, but I think this would be best played at 3 players. Definitely recommend this one to any Euro gamer. Apiary is a winner!
Agricola has survived every cull. It is that good. I never even considered getting rid of it. Favorite. Game. Ever. Great list, BTW. All awesome picks, except that one for kids.
Not necessarily my top 5 but other good animal themed games. Wild:Serengeti Creature Comforts/Maple Valley Honey Buzz Everdell Isle of Cats Apiary Oh and the outtake was great.
Isle of Cats was close to making it on Paul's list. Creature Comforts is great, honestly that one didn't cross our minds. Honey Buzz is a great theme but just doesn't do it for us. Haven't tried Wild, Everdell, or Apiary
Have either of you played Ark Nova with Marine Worlds? I think that solves some of the hunting issues for certain card types. Haven't tried Meadow yet but would like to. We house rule an opening draft in Wingspan and use a 6 card 'tray'. Mitigates a ton of the luck! Isle of Cats? Everdell?
We have not, mainly because Paul would rather play Terraforming Mars lol. I'll try to convince him. Isle of Cats was number 6 for Paul and neither of us have played Everdell before!
I'm totally okay with the food > people answer
Lol it is pretty great

Apiary has definitely peeked my interest. What are your thoughts?

Terraforming Mars is my #9 overall game and Ark Nova is my #1. I own Everdell. Y'all just have to come play!
@cwb95k gonna have to get a day for it! I talked to Harrison the other day about setting a game day up, maybe we can get that going!
I thought forsure Ark Nova was going to be #1! It's just so animal themed hahah. #1 pick was awesome though. haven't played that one yet
Very close!
