Wilabaliw is a Filipino band
If I may and I hope you guys read this, just wanna explain my interpretation of the song, hindi na makita means, can not be seen or can no longer be seen depending on the use of the phrase in a sentence, the song I think is about corruption and death of the civillians due to politicians pocketing the budget. "Ang nakaw mo, sana madala mo sa kamatayan Hatid ka ni Satanas sa pangalawa mong kulungan" literally means the things you stole, wish you could bring them to your grave, your being sent off by Satan to your 2nd prison cell. Chorus was just about them being drunk on their vices and hoping that good ones with logic will replace them. 2nd verse says as well that someone was asking for food from the Hepe which means chief but was given a bullet and the chief said hindi na daw pede tinangay na ng hepe means no longer possible, it was taken by the chief. Refrain is about repentance since we dont know when it will rain hard because of the line " Agad ayusin ang mga butas " which means quickly repair the holes and " Kung kailan bubuhos ng malakas" means when it will pour down. Last Verse tells asks us how many ulo/heads and katawn/bodies have been seen and the answer is hindi na makita.

I'm Filipino by the way so I understand the language and you might recognize Ian Tayao the vocalist because he is the vocalist of Queso/Cheese.

@@himawarii_gg yeah the so called "victims of martial law" when in fact those were the victims of insurgencies of the NPA so that they can blame it on martial law of Marcos.. try to research more to know the "real truth" so that you can never be again a victim of Aquinos's propagandas.

@Gian My thoughts exactly. There was a huge posibility that most of the disappearance during the Marcos Regime that NPA's were involved and a good tactics that relate to the guerilla warfare.

Hello, thanks for reacting to one of my favorite bands.
Wilabaliw is one of the best experimental rock bands here in the Philippines, far different from Tayao's first band (Queso/Cheese)'s sound. . Vocalist Ian Tayao is also known for his stage stunts such as stage dives and rhythmic body moves during performances.
Wilabaliw's name is a wordplay (anagram or palindrome form) of the word 'baliw' which means "foolish", "insane" or "crazy" in Filipino language.
This song, means "can't be seen anymore". The song's lyrical meaning is deeply meant that most of the listeners interpreted that the song tackles about the drug extrajudicial actions here in the Philippines.
The music video is quite far from the song's lyrical context. According to Tayao in one of his live gaming stream videos on Facebook, the music video's storyline focuses on Julio (played by Tayao himself), a spiritual sorcerer, summoning all of his spiritual elements to heal his dead wife, that he did somehow successfully, but in the end backfires on himself.
Wilabaliw is good in english songs. I strongly suggest the heavy "Sunken ID", the aggressive "Illuminate I", hard-hitting "Diveler" and the relaxing "Melbourne".
They're Filipino. He's singing in Tagalog, the official language of the Philippines. The guy is fronting the band Queso as well, both are badass.🤘

My metal head uncles helped to raise me since I was a baby so even tho Im not a rock fan, I can sing to famous filipino rock songs. Being a kid, I remember waking up in the morning with heavy metal blasting the speakers or my uncles practicing for their own metal band in the basement. You guys kind of remind me of them. They look like bad guys because of how they look and the way they talk but their very nice guys. I miss them.
at the intro the demon said to the guy "you or her" the guy choose himself to die, to make the story short he sold himself to the devil to make the girl live. that's the concept of the video, the lyrics is a different thing, in my interpretation the lyrics is about the alleged extra judicial killing in the philippines, about the missing body of criminals or suspected criminals abducted by corrupt cops, vigilante, gangs, or organized crime group

its all about the drug war here in the Philippines. A lot of missing person, killings and mistaken identity.And there is some cases that other police officers has an involvement in illegal drugs and killings.

Basically, it's talking about our politicians, the government, and their hidden agendas where authorities kill civillains who knows too much about their system or evil tactics. Like syndicates and government. Very common and you have seen this in some movies where government or officials are actually business partners underground.
