Interesting choice of no anti-stab wheels. Fascinating that the really long torque arm design will provide enough lift that even when limit strapped as shown here theres still plenty of front skid load (likes to wheelie). Cool to see different skid designs, would be neat to feel how it rides differently.
When the Thomas brothers first started teasing us with their skid I think I saw a carbon fiber rail...? is that design still in the works? I haven't looked at their website or social media pages in awhile.
@@kev244 I know bud we are really struggling with no snow 🤦♂️ Hopefully we get something this weekend but until the hills are ready we aren’t out filming yet.
A great way to think about the glide and what it costs is that it allows you to run 1 track length with the benefits of 2. Buying a skid that makes a 155 feel like a 165 if you needed it to is pretty cool and less money than an additional sled. Plus it’s easy to swap into your next machine 👊
@@Visinoni3434 A Nextech skid is $4500.00 and they’ve sold lots of them. It’s certainly a high end product….but the word is out because of the quality and performance gain these skids offer. 👍👍👍
@NextLevelRidingClinics 😂, remind me, how much more is carbon fiber to produce than aluminum? This is my point, their mark up will drive people away. Even if the performance is superior. Thanks for proving my point.
@@Visinoni3434 I wrote a really long reply to this explaining a bunch about this topic….but can tell you already know everything. Thanks for coming on my channel to prove your points 😝
I'd love to try one. The cost will unfortunately keep me and the majority of other riders from buying one. Seems like there is a large profit margin on these.

I suppose the rear Fox shock lockout will work the same?? Or ??
Whats the attack angle
Is this skid only for mountain sleds?
They make them for the 146….but for now it’s designed for mountain sleds. 👍
@@NextLevelRidingClinics Dan where’s the new videos to start off the 24/25 season ?

@ I hear ya ! I’m in Idaho falls doing the snow dance right now.
any reason they have the upper idler wheels wider (like an axys) in the skid compared to the narrow wheels on the Matryx skid?
Name on the non slip?
$5500-6000 is the shit kicker for that nice unit!

Might be true, but if the cost prohibits people from buying them, then the word will never get out.
