Hi you rwo, just a suggestion for you to consider, if you made the doors open inwards, it would not matter how deep the snow is. Yes it does somewhat restrict the ineer floor space but removes the problem that you have at the present. Also you can put gate hinges that just slot onto pins so its easy to lift the door by placing washers on the pins.

I’m glad you can edit out the real story 😂🤣 Keep up the good work and it’s nice that you can do it without killing each other. We have been married for 50years and can still do jobs together with a smile on our face and laughter in our voice. It’s different though when he won’t wear his hearing aid and I have to repeat myself 3 or 4 times before he gets it.🤬😩. I’m glad he can’t read my mind when that happens. ❤️
Another suggestion, try TX screws, they are more expensive but do not cam out so are far easier to use even with one hand as they stay on the driver bit
Maybe you could take a good lesson from them in being a little happier than you are. Have you heard the saying : if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything. I think laughing is great when you really want to scream and stamp your feet. 👋🏻😂👋🏻
