You can do it fur down or fur up. I have never know it to make a difference. Some prefer it one way or the other but to me it’s just personal preference
Fish are on the bottom and when they look up they will see the red better along with the hair movements it will look more realistic IMO. It would be good to try both ways to see what the fish like on that particular day.
