Well where I live it is normal to graduate school at age 16, in some schools you can even finish at age 15 and go to college then. They than sometimes have to move out because the college isn't close enough. So they would be living on there own when they are 16 and that is normal here so I don't really get where all the hate about her being to young is coming from but maybe that's just me.

I don't like that just because I don't necessarily agree with her moving out that suddenly I have to be jealous of her or think she's stupid, because that's not the case for either of those. honestly, if she can afford it and her parents allow her there is no reason for comments saying her parents don't know what they're doing, this experience could also help her grow and mature more as a person and prepare for real world things. my only advice/concern is that you have to be careful with the people you surround yourself with and if you're confident in them then it's fine. I'm 20 years old, and I'm so ready to move out and I have a husky but I would never move without her. My dog is always put before myself, you obviously don't love her that much otherwise you wouldn't of moved out and left her behind. I understand that some places won't accept any pets, but your family home did. So you didn't need to move out. You wanted to and you knew you'd have to leave your animal behind in the process, that's so selfish.

Well, here in the Philippines, we value our family tradition and that's why even though we're in our 20's or even 30's, we still live with our parents. It's pretty sad though, you're soooo young, and moving out out in that age. You might not see your parents every single day compared to before. It just sucks to be living that way in America. You can earn money without moving out ya know.
It's not sad. She can do whatever she wants. I'm Filipino too and I value our family tradition. I think it would be better for myself that I stay with my family because that is what I think is best for me and that is my choice. I'm from Mexico. I'm 27 years old and I'm living with my parents at the moment. I lived outside home when I was 18. I lived a year abroad in Canada and after that 6 months in London and 6 months in Paris. I studied university in other state living on my own. Believe me there's a reason why parents exist. I have made some mistakes. Hell I am still learning. I started partying when I was 15 and I got in trouble big time. And yeah probably all that made me who I am today but still she's so so young to be thinking that way. I am glad she's being responsible but I mean unfortunately, your safety is not always up to you. I'm from Scotland in the UK and we get our school qualifications that can get you into university at 16/17. So a few people at my school moved out and went to an apprenticeship or to university/college at 16, then the rest tend to move out at 17/18. So as long as Maddi is happy then that's what's important, not how old she is! :)
I'm from Scotland as well and your right , it is pretty common to move out at that age I would say mostly at 17/18 when you have finished 6th year although if you leave at 5th year and go to college you can leave at 16

So here's the story, I woke up and found myself staring at the notification that maddi was moving. So suddenly I was like what??! But she's only 16! So I watch this video... I CANT BELIEVE SHE ACTUALLY MOVED OUT!! Maddi I love deeply but what if something goes wrong like the apartment being broken into or you never get booked for modeling anymore? She doesn't have a part time job to fit in on the online school? You bought your own car already and seem to be paying a few bills, but I'm not trying to be mean or anything but sometimes it feels like you're in a rush to be all grown up... Here in Texas where I live I've had a friend move into his own apartment at 15, he's a high school student in public school... Don't try to do too many things to get the thrill of living like an adult sometimes don't always work out as planned.......

Guys shes not ready to live her own, at 16? No way...But what makes her feel like she is, is the fact that she can afford it... She makes tons of money off modelling and youtube which can obviously assist her financially... She's a teenager, she's able to convince herself she's ready, she wants to be independent and hang out with her friends all the time.. Anyway even though she explained why she knows she's ready to move out, realistically, as a 16 year old... She's not. I would be quite worried about her if I were her parents. Until shes 18 I would not let her have access to all the money she earns but would give her allowances and money out of the money she earns... But the thing is she has access.. Idk if this made sense but does anyone else agree?

Well where I live it is normal to graduate school at age 16, in some schools you can even finish at age 15 and go to college then. They than sometimes have to move out because the college isn't close enough. So they would be living on there own when they are 16 and that is normal here so I don't really get where all the hate about her being to young is coming from but maybe that's just me.

I don't like that just because I don't necessarily agree with her moving out that suddenly I have to be jealous of her or think she's stupid, because that's not the case for either of those. Honestly, there must be something about California why teenagers feel the need to grow up so fast. I'm 16 too, and I know that everyone is different but why move out so young? She's literally growing up so fast, and I've been watching her for so many years so obviously I'm proud of her, but this generation is losing sight of what it means to be a kid. I'm 20 years old, and I'm so ready to move out and I have a husky but I would never move without her. My dog is always put before myself, you obviously don't love her that much otherwise you wouldn't of moved out and left her behind. I understand that some places won't accept any pets, but your family home did. So you didn't need to move out. I'm from Mexico. I'm 27 years old and I'm living with my parents at the moment. I lived outside home when I was 18. I lived a year abroad in Canada and after that 6 months in London and 6 months in Paris. I studied university in other state living on my own. Believe me there's a reason why parents exist. I have made some mistakes. Hell I am still learning. I started partying when I was 15 and I got in trouble big time. And yeah probably all that made me who I am today but still she's so so young to be thinking that way. I am glad she's being responsible but I mean unfortunately, your safety is not always up to you. When I watch Maddi i constantly forget how old she is, maybe it is because a lot of her friends are older but im my opinion she does not act like a 16 year old. She's really mature for her age, and if this is what she thinks is going to make her happy then everyone needs to chill out. I don't understand why so many people get so worked up over things that DO NOT EFFECT THEM. If Maddi thinks moving out is the best thing for her then that's amazing and I hope it works out for her, but even if it doesn't then I'm sure she will live and learn. Nobody wants to be judged for the way they choose to live their life.
Unfortunately, she had to explain herself because even though she's doing what's best for her & it's her life, people will still send her hate for it.
that's fine.. but don't waste your breath.. people are gonna hate whether you acknowledge them or not.. i just felt like it was a way too long rant to "not care".
It's basically a big 'fuck you' to worthless judgemental pieces of shit.
To the ignorant individuals in the comments (not to Madi) Money may get you those expensive shoes and chanel bag, but doesn't buy happiness. Never forget that. It's a vital life lesson that some of you don't seem to be understanding. You can still live a great life without having what Madi had. She was just fortunate enough to get what she has now. That doesn't mean you life is any less meaningful than hers.

+Kolorlesssoul thank you for this :) with youtube being littered with vlogs and videos of people's lives in LA and all of the travelling and the shopping, etc. sometimes I feel like we end up feeding our mind with it so much, that we begin to believe that because they look happy, then that is the only way to be happy. I've been caught watching vlogs and thinking, if only I could live in LA and go out when I want and have money for my own apartment and all of those cute clothes, etc. then I'm like, "no! snap out of it! they're having fun, but you're blessed, too, and you're happy. don't let other people's happiness outshine your happiness!"... let's simultaneously be happy and grateful :) And I'm not saying that vloggers are doing anything wrong! I love watching vlogs :) But if I'm going to watch them, I have to let go of certain mindsets... we all do!

I'm from Scotland in the UK and we get our school qualifications that can get you into university at 16/17. So a few people at my school moved out and went to an apprenticeship or to university/college at 16, then the rest tend to move out at 17/18. So as long as Maddi is happy then that's what's important, not how old she is! :)
I'm from Scotland as well and your right , it is pretty common to move out at that age I would say mostly at 17/18 when you have finished 6th year although if you leave at 5th year and go to college you can leave at 16

Well you'd be a dropout because you wouldn't have your qualifications to go to college/university. The school systems are really different

Chichi Nwaeze if you leave schools in 5th year you are not a drop out because you have finsihed your exams and you will be likely to go to university because the 5th year exams are the most important.

Maddi, honey, you do not need to explain yourself for any of your life decisions. Do what makes you happy and everyone else who complains or disagrees about it can go eff themselves.
It doesn't matter about how old she is its about the level of maturity . She can support herself better then any 16 year old out here. If she wants to move out and do whatever she wants WITH THE MONEY SHE EARNED then she could. I understand that 16 might not be the age a lot of teenagers go out to live my them selfs but you need to understand that it's about how mature the person is
why are people so upset about her age when literally in a year or two she will be the age when teenagers are forced to make big decisions for their future!!! Don't say that she's not ready for this because she's 16 when kids are forced to do this stuff when they turn 17/18....

16 is just a number. I've watched madi over the years and I can say that she is one of the most amazing, motivational, and mature person I've even known. she can live her life how ever she wants to. people that hate are just jelious because they don't have the live you do. CONGRATS madi❤️ ily💕

if you are at a point where you are financially stable enough, and are ready for the challenge of living on your own (that is not with your family), i don't think it matters if you move out at eighteen or sixteen. i know at twenty i am not ready to move out, but if you are then good for you! you do you and you get yourself out there and you start your life! i'm excited to see what adventures you get into.

So here's the story, I woke up and found myself staring at the notification that maddi was moving. So suddenly I was like what??! But she's only 16! So I watch this video... I CANT BELIEVE SHE ACTUALLY MOVED OUT!! Maddi I love deeply but what if something goes wrong like the apartment being broken into or you never get booked for modeling anymore? She doesn't have a part time job to fit in on the online school? You bought your own car already and seem to be paying a few bills, but I'm not trying to be mean or anything but sometimes it feels like you're in a rush to be all grown up... Here in Texas where I live I've had a friend move into his own apartment at 15, he's a high school student in public school... Don't try to do too many things to get the thrill of living like an adult sometimes don't always work out as planned.......

If anything happens in her apartment, I am pretty sure they have an alarm for her whole neighborhood. Also,age doesn't always define maturity. If she can handle herself financially, she is good to go. Kids these days die so early as it is.
