I drew a number of soft pastel drawings but their color faded......
Avidha! If I understood correctly, you asked how to fix the pastel picture. I do not use fixatives, as they greatly obscure the artwork. I put tracing paper on top of the picture to avoid mechanical damage. Or I use a frame with glass and a mat (Passepartout), which provides the necessary distance between the picture and the glass.
Beautifully rendered. I would love to know where you get your reference images. I'm not likely to go photograph a sea turtle, but I'd love to paint one ;)

Is it absolutely necessasry to use Rembrandt soft pastels? Could it possibly be substituted with Faber Castell's instead?
