    This Bow I also have... It's an awesome Qing Bow by AF..specially the quality at this price. This Bow gives you a punch when arrows is shot, which goest straight, fast and accurate.... Ashwood with black lamination looks awesome..the string sound when Armin draws it is bit disturbing, but this doesn't happens with my AF Qing... Bit viberation when string hits the bridges.. but that's where you get feeling of punchy Bow..takes heavy arrows too good. Although I draw till 30 inches... But it does the Work...
    Very Nice video Armin...too cool

    Very nice bow. I can wait to try 34 inches draw. 32 inches was the max I tried. Thank a lot Lois Pasteur for making it possible. Armin.. when you were measuring the draw weight at 28" you said 34.3 but wrote 43.3 (dreiundvierzig oder vierunddreissig - I mix them so often when speaking German) But clearly 34.3 is the correct value. In case you haven't notice... correct the data in your archive.

    Do the arrows go where you want them to? Yes
    Is it a cool bow, the Kheshig factor? Yes
    Does it draw 34 inches and less for people that want to do the thumb release? Yes
    Does it shoot heavy arrows fast? Yes!
    Is this the cheapest laminated manchu bow that you can get and have fun with? Probably yes.
    AF archery probably has a horsebow for everybody!

    I have this bow and draw it only to 34 and it’s 45#@34”, what arrow weight would you suggest. I tried the whole the bows weight x 0.6 and that seemed way to light weight. Also wanted to mention finally got my kheshig in the mail and man is that bow a joy to fling arrows from, I made 3 different arrow lengths and weights hit on the target from 85 yards right out of the box. Mine is also 35lb at 28(measured 37.5lb). The sound of the bow's firts draw after stringing is terrifing, but its only the string getting aligned on the string bridges. Mine is odlly lighter, only 502grams and with 11.2 gpp arrows it does cca 165-170fps. It really likes heavier arrows. But those are hard to find( especially 35+ inch) and expesive(any tips for long and heavy arrows for good price?). The bow has nice kick when the string lands on the bridges - I like that. Great bow, I'am loving mine. Thanks for the review.

    • @Marmocet
      @Marmocet 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because the limbs, especially the limb tips with those long siyahs, are heavy, so compared to other bows with lighter limbs and limb tips, a relatively larger proportion of the total energy stored in the bow at full draw is used up just moving the limbs themselves. This makes the dry fire speed of these bows low. On the other hand, the long siyahs and long draw length mean they can store a lot of energy, especially for their draw weight. The result is a bow that, as I said, has a low dry fire speed compared to other bows, but that isn't as strongly affected by increasing arrow mass as other bows as well. At high arrow masses (something like 13 GPP and higher), these bows outperform every other kind of bow until you get to compound bows.

    gettin" tired of this style bows i look at the limbs and how they absurdly bend back at the handle and the give up their length of working force applied per length per some absurd 30 plus inches, the "smoothness" of which you comment upon meaning that it's useless energy since that last 4 inches is nothing but wompy uselessness. .performance figures you seem to have demonished ever since you dissed the black hunter at way more effiency yet hung up on a phase in production which resulted in some limb bolt diameters not matching diamondwood risers' previous product runs. .yeah i know your thumb release is unique and right of center arrow rest is along with it but probly for the last hundred reviews all you shoot is these "sija" equipped things that more often than not disappoint

      Why you bothered to watch a review on a bow design you don't like is an interesting waste of your time. I don't watch reviews on women's make-up because it bores me. And I'm certainly not going to watch a video on women's make-up and then complain in the comments about how I don't like it.

      @@ArminHirmer yes thankyou, Armin . . b'lieve me i've much appreciated your working with the bows and arrows you have and review, even tho' they're mostly somewhat out of style around here; i guess the only intelligent thing i might try to say is, how come a full working limb, with consistent materials [laminations] throughout, and with heat pressed curves preloading the flexations, cannot seem to impress you much ? . the reverse limb version of the black hunter came out 2 years ago, with many good draw curve characteristics, for u.s. $200. .
