- Another London Underground video and this one features the Track Recording Train. It is formed of 2 1960 Stock driving cars along with a 1973 stock car in the middle meaning that the mean age of all 3 cars is around 60 years old with the 2 end cars being 64 years old. We see it passing Acton Town on the Piccadilly Line. Enjoy!
The cravens stock definitely had their own, very recognisable, front end look. Still quite smart !
It certainly is unique.
Excellent catch of the old stock from the 60s!!
Cheers! Apparently it's starting to have some problems so it may not be in service for much longer.
Great video!
Bon clip vidéo
Merci!
1983 stock, I see. It looks nice idk what stock it is
The front and rear cars are 1960 stock and the middle car is a 1973 stock carriage.
Nice
Old Stock Sounds Like 1972 Stock
The motors are probably fairly similar. That would be my guess to why they sound similar
Idk why theese were never used on services? Anyone know why?
They were used in revenue service on the Central Line but were withdrawn in 1994 when the line to Ongar closed. This is the only one left and has been in service for 40 years
Which line
This train was on the Piccadilly Line but it operates on all different lines of the London Underground.
