Last night bonobo absolutely crushed hulaween festival with his beautiful worldly Dj set, everyone letting loose and dancing to his deeply human vibe. This video is a totally different sound, but the absolute perfect thing to listen to the day after that cathartic and pounding bass experience. Break Apart brings the happy tears.
AH I was there too! I had seen him before, but that set blew me away. It was like a sound bath in all the good energies of the world. Unreal.

This version of 'Break apart' live is such a jewel!
it is Szjerdine - she makes it all better (although there is nothing wrong with the studio version performed by Rhye)
That moment at 8:20 or so where the drummer is just sitting there listening to szjerdene sing her heart out and nodding, grooving before going back into the beat and it's just visual poetry.
This whole performance is just a meal.

My word, the vocalist's voice is possibly one of the best I've ever heard. Absolutely fantastic! Such lovely subtleties that are incredibly difficult to control, but she nails it. Good job to the whole team. Loved it.

I used to have a band, and sometimes i used to play drums with an amazing singer from my hometown. Man, hear this reminds me how music is one of the few things that really matters.
What a great perfomance, Szjerdene's interpretation on Break Apart is one of the most beatiful things i've ever seen.
Can't wait to see her in Rio next week.

This is fantastic. I love the interviewer, the setting, the clean sounds and sound on my good Mackie speakers...and seeing Bonobo break down the songs I love so much live. Watching him play bass...Thank you KEXP for this. I can't wait till the 2022 Nashville show in February. It will be my first time to see a live show..

Pretty amazing Bonobo, really awesome. You guys have a way to make music that always gets me. I'm from Venezuela, a big fan of you.
