However, it is pathetic to see lifeless river Lukha polluted by industrial minings. The river is so beautiful. It needs proper protection by the government

Khaddum is the only Hmar village in Meghalaya. The village founder Pawnga migrated to Jaintia Hills from Manipur in 1948 as per local sources.
