When Comes Part 2 ✨✨
A quick question because I’ve never tried animating something like this. Would you recommend drawing the backgrounds first? I feel like this is a obvious question lol but I want try to push myself outside of my comfort zone
@@katamour5717 I find having the backgrounds ready makes it alot easier to place the characters. I usually draw out the backgrounds first :)

I like the lighting too. It’s just that the detailing in your animatic is missing in his animation. You should do a collab animation!
I agree. Hers had more detail. In his it was still like an animatic, just more movement. His just had shadows and lighting but the characters were just solid colors. Now im not saying he did a bad job (definitely better than what i could do) but just not what i would want if that was my animatic.
That's what i was thinking when i first saw it!

Because animation shouldn’t have detail, it makes it a hundred times harder to animate, especially when doing it solo. Hers are just drawings that aren’t even fully done, it is much easier for her to add detail.

The colors really shine in the animation, I really feel like this artist is going places if allowed to grow and improve their already-impressive talents! There are few shortcomings, but the good parts are just SO GOOD. That's not even acknowledging the fact that they took on this project and managed to *finish* it.
I really want to see them continue improving their art. If the colors are this beautiful right now, then imagine what their skills would be in a year from now.

There a few important details they forgot in the animated one but overall its really good cause animation is really hard and its harder to add details plus i love the effects added

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED BOTH SO MUCH!!!
The animatic definitely was better in some area, mainly line art which I think was a bit shakey and I feel didn’t convey as much as the sketch (this is very common, line art isn’t always better tho sketches can be quite the mess). But in animation, I can’t express how great the effects were. Seeing the fire come to life made it more than something small and showed real power. Colors were better than the other in different places, that nice tone in the animatic was nice and I think just studying color theory a bit more can really balance it out as in some scenes I feel the bright colors were awesome (not only for effects).
Is it possible for you to make a tutorial how you achieved such wondrous effects with the fire and other things?
Either way, you’re incredible and I really hope to see you improve, hope my own insights might be a bit helpful. You’re talented, and you’re going to go far, you already are far.

I’m no professional, but I do have a few nitpicks. First off, just wow! The animation is amazing. There were a few chunks that weren’t exactly animated, but it still conveyed motion, so it still flowed well. And the colour is absolutely beautiful and stunning. Some bits were a bit too intense in my opinion. The dark shadow that contrasts the light hitting objects is kind of much to the eyes. Lighting is hard to understand with angles, and especially in animation. Logan did an amazing job, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Now the nitpicks. I don’t really have many, except that the sketchy style when drawing the characters didn’t really blend well with the background. It’s best to stick with the style on the entire screen. That’s really it in my opinion. This is an amazing animation! And I will definitely want to see more from both artists in the future.
I feel like they go hand in hand, what his lacked yours had what yours lacked his had. They're both beautifully done regardless

As much as I loved the animated, I still prefer the animatic. It just feels much more... atmospheric.
I feel this should have been an arc in season 5 of svtfoe, somehow that evil unicorn that stabbed marco would be turning him to the dark side, and he would have dark magic
funny thing that in the new animation Marco's wand had his mole XD
I swear nobody is ever going to let me forget me missing the mole xD This is why you always use references people so you don't make silly mistakes.

@@bachledong7874 One day I will make a part 2. I have the song and basic plot worked out but it will be a big project so I will stick to doing some smaller projects for now until I have the time to properly work on it :)

His was really cool, definitely, and I love the glowy/bright colors effects, but I still prefer yours, to be honest. The details, art style, shading, colors, movement, and all just feel more natural. Love both! SO cool! Was really nice to see them side by side here! Gorgeous work, you two!

I loved the new one. It had fewer details, and the mouth flaps were weird, but those are things that take a lot of time and effort to get right.

I missed the days when I would watch Star Vs The Forces Of Evil until I got busy with school and addicted to TH-cam, I stopped watching tv ;-; This is so beautiful and it gives me sad memories of how I ditched tv for TH-cam and I missed a lot of shows like Adventure Time and Fairy Tail (I only got to watch till S4 ;-;) Though the times when I watched tv were really memorable and fun....

I Really love Both, I was waiting that coloured version for a Year, but I have to say, the base version, make it more emotional with such more details, Star face when she looks to Marco's House, 🤩 pass soo much drama, and the hope that's inside her to rescue Marco from his Madness, both of them are really Awesome work of animation and storyboard (that storyboard it's insane, and give some point of an epic history)
